About the Wizards and the Bulls:

Last playoffs, the Top 8 of the Bulls and the Minutes they played in all 5 games in toto. I am rounding up to make it easier to read. And also arranged in highest to lowest:

Jimmy ---- 220 Minutes
Joakim --- 210 ( Thats 42 MPG on a bum knee)
Captain -- 170 (LOLOLOL)
DunDun -- 160
Gibson --- 150
Augustin - 140 ( And he shot 27% from 3 pt. land....a skill we have added to considerably this year)
Boozer --- 120
Snell ------ 50

What a ghastly Top 8 that is ^^^.

This season, we are projected to have:
1) Noah playing less minutes
2) Derrick playing Kirk's minutes
3) Gasol playing Boozers minutes
4) Better Butler than last season...unfathomably better Butler. Every young player improves, but not like Butler did.
5) Brooks, Dunleavy with elite 3 point shooting. And Tony, Kirk and Niko with additional 3 point shooting. All except Brooks, shoot with size and also play defense or add another skill.

Now compare that to the Top 8 of the Wiz last season:

Beal ----- 210 Minutes (Injury concerns this season)
Ariza ---- 190 Minutes AND 50% from 3 (He gone. Replaced by old man Pierce)
Wall ----- 190
Marcin --- 180
Nene ----- 140 (You can up it to the same as Marcin, since Nene was suspended a game)
Booker --- 120. 16 Offensive boards. Second only to Gortats 17 offensive boards. ( He gone too)
Martell --- 90
Miller ----- 50

^^^That team got older, worser and less skilled over the offseason.

They didnt develop Otto enough in the regular season to fill in some gaps. And have depended on Rasaul Butler too much in the beginning of the year. That kind of lightning does NOT strike twice.

When (not IF), we have our full on health and our reps, Wiz are gonna find us a VERY tough out.
For love, not money.

Don't overlook Pierce and his ice water veins.

He's still a very efficient scorer. And they can hide his bad defense on Dunleavy if they want.

But heck, he's played Butler well even, which was disappointing.

And thats mainly because of Derrick sitting games and being on a minutes restriction, Jimmy missing a few games and Dunleavy missing 19 games.

Once Kirk goes back to being 8th/9th in minutes, we are all set. It means out Top 7/8 are EXACTLY who they need to be.

This playoffs is shaping up to look MUCH better minutes distribution wise than last year. The QUALITY of the minutes will be drastically improved. Not to mention this is being acheived while playing Joakim a less-ungodly MPG.

If you think of the Washington offense...its an all roads lead to Mecca kind of offense. There is no perimeter to their offense.

What they do is shoot a few three's but make them at a high percentage. You'd think that just upping volume should be enough....but that only works if you have a credible, established 3 point making history.

That doesnt scream Pierce or Wall to me. Beal is the only guy who can sustain percentage while upping 3 volume.

Wall
Beal
Pierce
Nene
Gortat
