that might be what we were getting but i think he's capable of more....there were times this season where IMO rose looked like he was holding back or just made jump basketball IQ plays that had nothing will ability and can be fixed...

As people here have mentioned - very few teams were able to do much when their max player was missing. Indiana made it to the ECF without Granger and the Knicks made it to the second round without Amare. That's about it.

Overall, other than Rose, just about all of our key players are underpaid. Butler is on a rookie contract, Gasol is underpaid, Taj is underpaid, Noah has fallen off, but is still underpaid, Brooks underpaid, Snell on a rookie contract. Seems to me the FO has done a great job in terms of cap management. They haven't done much in terms of trades, but that's a different story.
