Bogan, brewer, and Korver combined for 16 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, 1 block 0 turnovers

landry fieds by himself had 14 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 0 steal, 1 block, 2 turnovers.

our 3 headed SG clowns played 58 minutes and shot 6-14, 3-7 on 3 pt shots. 1-5 FT shooting.

landry played 35 minutes and shot 5-7, 2-2 (3 pt shots), 2-2 FT.

Game was won and lost at this match up....a quiet rookie stays completely out of the way of the offense...you dont even see him him out there...he takes 7 shots (is averaging 7.7 shots on the year) yet scores 14 points, and grabs 11 rebounds.

Just finds himself in the right place at the right time...smart player, can shoot, rebound and plays smart position defense.

At this point the knicks would trade him except for a superstar (melo) whom one way or another they will get melo....no reason for us to not facilitate that trade if we can by including picks to enver and taking back Fields...but of course 85% of our posters voted to not do that.

landry smoked our butts today at nearly 5% the salary hit of bigans, Brewer, and Korver combined.

Brewer is useful player as is Korver but Landy really does what all 3 of these guys do and does so very quietly which would allow Rose, Boozer, Deng, Korver to dominate the ball on offense.

All the naysayers can take the fast pace inflated stats arguement, dantoni system out with the spoiled eggnog. He beat our 3 headed monster head to head in every single facet of the game to day. in almost half the minutes they played combined.

Guys like Kobe, LBJ and Wade don't miss that layup. They either make it or are able to draw a foul and sometimes get an and1.

He needs to be able draw that foul if he is going to take the next step.

Is it true he can't really palm the ball which is why he doesn't try to dunk it more often. I'm trying to figure out why doesn't play more above the rim with his athleticism/hops..

I don't know but, you need to watch yourself because you aren't on the GB. The garbage you spout on the GB won't fly here.

Bogans is also an atrocious defender. He lacks athleticism and has virtually no energy on the court. I've watched hundreds of basketball games this NBA season and I have yet to see a worse player anywhere in the league who plays more than 5 minutes a game.

The problem is Brewer ain't the answer, either.

We need someone to space the floor in the starting lineup.

I'd start Korver at the 2, and try to work Johnson into the rotation.

But Bogans was a prolific scorer at Kentucky!

Can't tell most of em apart from Heat fans, and that's sad.

They haven't done anything in so long they are drunk with any decent regular season win. Compare with how Lakers fans acted when we beat them a few weeks back. Was no big deal to them, because it's not.

I don't understand the love affair of Keith Bogans.

And I know Kyle was horrible at the end, but he really started off well. Then proceeded to not play a minute in the 3rd quarter while Keith Bogans was doing **** all.

For some reason I had a feeling if the Bulls didn't start well it wouldn't end well. They had a rough start and really didn't look in sync.

Noah was missed, as was a starting two guard.

Merry Christmas, tomorrow Detroit. :)

No big deal losing on the road against a decent team. If this were the playoffs against the Knicks I would expect a 6 or 7 game series against them.

Rose WAS 12/23 and then had himself a terrible 4th quarter, missed 5 straight shots and too many turnovers. I think he was actually trying too hard and pressing out there. Looked frustrated with himself as well as with his team.

Boozer was terribly slow on rotations, just not very good on D at all.

Deng with an almost 5-13 game? Come on man.......

Can't really expect a win against a good team when you turn the ball over 21 times.

JJ? JJ barely got minutes in a 40 point blowout and had like 3 TOs in those few minutes.

Yea................he isn't the answer.

JJ has ability. Bogans doesn't. I'm not saying he should get major minutes but there's no good reason for him to be buried if a guy like Bogans can get burn.

The answer is in the Lee, Smith, Mayo, etc. area...barring something miraculous like Melo.

I think its far more interesting to dissect Derrick's play at a closer level than much of the, "HE SUCKED" stuff.

That he tries to convert around defenders near the rim continues to be a problem. He makes some shots so tough that they just become low percentage.

28 shots, 3 FTA. It shouldn't happen. I'm just not sure how he can get to learn that skill of drawing fouls, flopping, whatever it takes.

Exactly, come playoff time this game won't have much meaning unless our records are the same. :D I feel we will have a better record though so that shouldn't be a problem.
