Has there ever been a starting PF with a lower TS% than Big Baby Davis?

Re: Some rumors I've been hearing
A Boozer trade would be nice depending on what other incentives we have to add. BBD/Redick would be solid additions to compensate for the loss of scoring. I also like sending Boozer to the Nets. I don't really want Humphries but I suspect he'd be easier to send to a 3rd team than Boozer, opening up the door for better deals.

The team you want rivals the 07 Bulls level of good. And yes, that team was crap.
In what world is Gerald Wallace better than Deng???
And honestly Reddick/Morrow/Marshon would probably be a wash if not better compared to JJ and Rip. Those guys game are not close to what it use to be and JJ just isn't that good anymore.
In the world in which he has a career 17.3 PER and Luol after 2 excellent seasons only has a 15.9 rating.

Luol:

The guy does step up in the big games though and he would be a bench player for us. He's only making 6 mil for a couple more years and it would be worth it to get rid of Boozer. We use him like Boston did for 15 MPg and give him 4 or 5 SPG.. we don't need the ORL version. Remember, the objective is to dump Boozer's albatross. Eye on the prize .If we get AA or JJ Redick it's so worth doing.

I didn't either, I heard the Magic were keeping tabs on Carlos and were interested. My guess is they would probably want to trade players for it. I don't see the Bulls getting rid of Carlos contract and not take something back.

Re: Some rumors I've been hearing
As long as we don't part w/ the Charlotte pick I'm down with any and all Orlando trades that would ship Boozer out. I still think NJ could offer better assets but Orlando isn't too far behind. And I'm guessing all deals would center around JJ and Big Baby, not Afflalo.

Re: Some rumors I've been hearing
[quote="jcuuofd"]I'd trade Boozer for Aaron Afflalo; Deng + the Bobcats pick for Al Jefferson; and Rip Hamilton for CJ Miles.
2013 Bulls:
PG - Rose/Robinson
SG - Afflalo/Hinrich/Butler
SF - CJ Miles/Butler/Swingman Free Agent
PF - Al Jefferson/Taj
C - Noah/Taj/Free Agent
*
I'd love to have afflalo on this team, but Boozer ain't gonna get it done!
The other 2 trades you mention - smh!

Re: Some rumors I've been hearing
While I would like Redick on this bulls team, I'd much rather have Afflalo for his defense (Rose, Afflalo, Deng, Taj, Noah = best starting defensive unit in the league). I'm not sure if it would be worth throwing out the CHA pick along with Boozer for Afflalo and Big Baby, but I am intrigued by it (especially now that it looks like the pick might turn up sooner than later).

Re: Some rumors I've been hearing
I'm confused, and I'm not sure if anybody's brought this up yet.
If the Bulls goal isn't to pay luxury tax again, then why would they want Humphries? Wouldn't it just be smarter to amnesty Boozer in the offseason and not take back a $12M contract?
Theoretically if you dealt Boozer for Humphries and Brooks, your salary next year is $70,014,368
That makes no sense for a team of:
Rose / Teague
Brooks / Hinrich
Deng / Butler
Taj / Humphries
Noah /
I'm just saying. Are we going to amnesty Deng? I'm lost, because there just doesn't seem to be a chance in hell the Bulls pay tax two years in a row for these teams.
And even with the Orlando deal, why would we want to pay $14-15M for a PF rotation of Taj and Glen Davis the next two seasons? I mean to that deal's credit, Davis wouldn't put us in luxury tax and Redick is an expring, but I'm just confused.

Re: Some rumors I've been hearing
What I would like:
Boozer to Nets for Humphries and Brooks
Boozer to Jazz for Jefferson
Boozer and Belineli to Suns for Gortat and Dudley/Johnson/Beasley
We would probably need to throw in the Charlotte pick for any of these three to work.
If we do the Nets deal then I think Hamilton is gone too, helping get us under the luxury tax threshold. Hamilton to Cavs for 2nd round pick or cash, or a bag of chips.
Rose/Hinrich/Robinson/Teague
Brooks/Butler/Hinrich/Belineli
Deng/Butler/Radmanovic
Humprhies/Gibson/Radmanovic
Noah/Mohammad
or
Rose/Hinrich/Robinson/Teague
Hamilton/Butler/Hinrich
Deng/Dudley/Radmanovic
Noah/Gibson/Radmanovic
Gortat/Noah/Mohammad
I prefer the Suns trade. That looks like a great rotation. Cats pick will definitely have to be involved.

Gets JR closer to not having to pay that repeat offender tax in 2014.

If they do that trade, they'll include Belinelli. 17 million for 13 million is what it comes out to, and guess where that lands us? Out of the tax.
Next year, we can easily send 3 million with Kirk Hinrich's corpse if we needed to avoid tax again.

Kyrv:
"I agree with you. Just food for thought, someone earlier made up a trade, I think it was Booz and the Charlotte pick for Afflalo and Fat Fetus.
I'm sure this wouldn't happen, but in theory Orlando gets rid of two longer contracts for another possibly good pick, a shorter contract, and possibly get a little worse now making their own pick more valuable. This assumes many many things including that they don't see AA as the future and them realizing the Fat Fetus contract was a big mistake."
I believe Afflalo is the best bet we could reasonably get for our SG position - a near All-Star. I still don't understand why the Magic haven't traded him yet! He is winning games for them and that's not what they should be doing...
I would love Boozer plus the Charlotte pick for Afflalo and Turk (I believe his contract is not guaranteed next year), but don't include Baby - he has 2 more years after this year. Anyone still on the roster in 2014 needs to be ONLY those players you are gong forward with. Throw in JJ for RIP and you would really make me happy!

Re: Some rumors I've been hearing
Aaron Afflalo is not, nor has he ever been a near all-star. He's a good return if you're sending Boozer out, but we shouldn't overestimate his talent level now, or he'll soon just become another overpaid player we hate.

That salary of Big Baby's could always be included in a future trade.
The Bulls will be in fantastic shape if they're able to unload Boozer without using the amnesty.
