Nice bench big. Wanted him at 58 for Spurs. Well done Bulls.

What's with all these Aussies playing a basket ball?

Did Australia run out of beaches to surf?
Yeah, well you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

easily. he has translatable skill. he has more dimensions to his game. murphy was stretch with a slow release who couldn't do anything if defenders closed out on him.

Agreed. I can't believe we wasted the 49th pick on this guy. So many studs generally available at that point...

I've always wanted Jason Smith from New Orleans as a reserve big. Bairstow can grow into that type of player. Solid pick, Bulls.

I like this pick as well, dude looks rugged and tough. Solid draft for the Bulls.

Never heard of em but after a little research I like the pick.

I'd much rather have young energy guys in practice everyday with potential to be something, coming off our injured reserve then guys like Mike James and Scalabrini.

And I expect him to flat out dominate if he ends up in the D League for a while. But I don't think Thibs would allow that anyway.

Good Pick!

I think Bairstow is going to shock us. He has potential to be a bench rotation player in the league

typical australian news, no news about bairstow getting drafted. all the attention is on exum, (granted he is a lottery pick).

but anyway, glad to see another aussie, hopefully he'll make the team.

Ben Simmons and Thon Maker still to come. Both possibly will be lottery picks at some point.

We've got a nice core of players coming through.

We saw what Dellevedova did. He scrapped and fought to get on an NBA roster, and he looked serviceable in Cleveland. I would expect that the same from Bairstow given his character.

Dat Aussie battler!

I like that he's an aussie because they are typically very solid players in this league and they carry a certain swagger that I like.

I can't say that I have seen too much of Bairstow, but from what I have seen, he looks like someone who could fit into Thibs' system ...

I'm pretty sure they nailed last year's pick of Tony Snell as well.
