pretty much the exact same trade I proposed yesterday but I think it's a WINNER
Niko and holiday for a pick swap?
besides the fact that I would be hard pressed to help clevelend just because well, i hate that idea.
that's not really a win for us, TT is not a game changer for us any more than niko and hes' expensive, the swap might only be 3 spots vs the Brooklyn pick.
if a pick swap is worth niko, then i'd rather do a 180 and offer a pick swap to another team for their quality player on a contract that we can afford, (and we can afford quite a pile)
Just thinking that if maybe we're willing to trade down from 10'ish for a 20'ish, and take on salary, (lots of it too) maybe we can capitalize on established players over rookie deals, we're already young, don't really need to get younger.
we are 7 deep with a lotto pick and what. 50 million in cap?
I'm really convinced we're 2 established players away from being on the list of top 8 contenders, 3 players from being top 4.
screw the prospects, spend the money and bring in a couple established studs via trade or FA and lets compete next year.
there are only a handful of teams with significant cap space next year we're competing with, we're only behind Indy in cap space right?
