I hope that he is focusing on offensive awareness and picking apart the defense by either making the right pass or being aggressive when the play breaks or the shot clock is low. I feel like those are important leadership skills. He can’t be a passive 3D type player with his relative skill here in SL and be a good leader, IMHO
Working on his vocal leadership?

What kind of PR BS is that? He is a 20 year old 2nd year 5th wheel who was virtually invisible on the court playing below replacement player level as a rookie.

They don't need him vocally leading anyone. They need him listening. And they need him working on things like when to cut to the basket, quicker and better shot decisions, his outside jumper etc.

Basic NBA basketball skills we would expect a 19 year old to struggle with.

"Vocal leadership" my ass :)

He's got more minutes played in the NBA than the guys who have 3 years of experience. He should be the leader of the summer league team. That doesn't stop him also working on mechanical basketball skills, but he should also definitely be working on leadership skill. In 3 years he's going to be the face of the Bulls, or packaged in a trade to somewhere else. :dontknow:
What makes you believe PWill is the face of the Bulls in 3 years.

From last season I have no way of knowing if he is going to even be a high level starting player. You think he will be better than Zach? Or do you think Zach is leaving?

If he is the face of the Bulls in 3 years, right now I would have to say the Bulls have a really bleak future. Lauri had a better rookie year than Pat did.

I hope I am wrong and he becomes an all star. I just don't understand what anyone has seen that would make them think we have a superstar in the making.

I feel like we have a lot of decent prospects at the 3/4 on this squad.

Someone might get a main team contract from this from this and the other two-way contracts might go out to the rest.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

60 minute till the game. I improvised a nook in my work desk and brought the bluetooth earpieces to complete my setup.
Constantly underwhelmed by the Bulls.

Simonivic on the board!

Nice drag step lauri esque shot and active hands on defense so far.

Pat being passive so far caught ball twice at wing didn’t even try to collapse the defense.

Marko talks on defense which is nice to see from a young player

Pat getting more engaged now. Doing a good job of grabbing the rebound and pushing it up court. Also just hit a nice deep 3.

Shittu just flails widely when he takes shots. Draws fouls though. But is 100% being bailed out by the whistle, he has 0% chance to convert these wild shot attempts if a whistle wasn't blown it'd be an embarrassing shot.

That transition drive and dump off from Pat was fantastic.

Marko looks like he can provide some minutes on the varsity. Williams isnt dominant but very good.

This quarter has had just the right amount of PWill, not enough Marko, basically zero Ayo and way too much Dotson.

Thats my Summer League take!
