THT fills a vital role for an NBA team. You put him out there when your team is down 20 points with less than 5 minutes to play to avoid injury risk to your core players.

Zach quickly got hurt, and there was always this weird thing with him and DeRozan on the Court (without Ball or another real PG).

But the reality is that outside of Vuc and Zach, the Bulls are about the youngest team in the NBA, and while the young guys may well establish themselves as sure fire starting level players in a couple of years, none has reached that point yet. Which is also not a good sign for any of them becoming all-star level players, including Coby and Ayo. For example, while not exploding, Derrick White and DeJounte Murray were more consistent early on. Rozier. Or for a wing/forward, Miles Bridges outside of his character stuff - clear development path. These guys strike as more in the Nembhard range. Maybe, maybe not. No core young players, just contracts.

Bulls Net rating dropping to 23rd. Sounding more right. Lonzo and Zach could clearly keep this team competitive. Ayo/Coby continue swinging between good and bad. For Coby, 2 revelational games, 3 ok and 3 deplorable ones. Again registering a below-15 PER average, which imo puts him in the bottom-5 bracket of all starting guards. It’s not good enough for a 6th year player. He needs to make a jump in consistency.

Vuc’s gonna make an all star game at this rate. Same issue of being a sieve, but his shooting is hot. He plays like this, and he can be of help to some stronger defensive team.

I wonder what’s going on in their heads with Giddey. You resign this guy, and you have a long term Vuc problem the defensive hole you put yourself in (with poorly rated offense).

But I’m in favor of tanking. It’s not worth playing glass bodies for this team.

Awesome Matas game. Him and Giddey showing they're worth a damn is all that matters this season in addition to keeping our draft pick.

All of these losses will be worth it for us big picture if it gets AKME canned this year and we end up with Cooper Flagg or Ace Bailey =)
