Philly with Embiid is a whole different problem. Plus I think the 25 games PG was suspended gave him a second wind.

Boston can still win game 7 but its going to be tough.

Dang!

Was hoping for a full team and Boston loss that led to Mazzulla being fired and the Bulls hiring him. He’s my fav coach in the league.

Is Vooch hurt for the Celtics? Either way, it just goes to show you, he is a 30+ min guy for us, and he only gets 15-20 mins on a team that has little size.

A DNP with Luka Garza ahead of you but suggest your career is close to over.

I saw he is a healthy scratch right now.

I think it says a lot that they would rather put in Garza and Gonzalez over Vooch. Hugo is like 6'6

Are the 76ers healthier than the Celtics?

That's just bizarre to me.

I still cant believe Joe would rather go small than go with Vooch. Its kind of laughable.

Embiid is laughing out there.

This small guard line up is killing the Celtics . They need to play Vooch or Luka Garza in the line up

Vuc is a terrible sieve, but down 20… not sure DNPing him the whole night was the right call. He could have a hot night, when 3 of your starters have 0 points.

Vooch could at least give them an offensive threat. Embiid was scoring at will anyway. But at least Vooch would have gave them offense.

When people look at the Celtics box score, they will say WTF.

Good game by Boston. Fun 4th Q, good comeback, but way too many 3P bricks at the end.

Ultimately Vuc is 100% exploitable. I see why Joe didn’t bother playing him. Easy PnR target. It feels embarrassing, but IMO Billy cost the Bulls 3Y+ of results and change by not benching him. Not playing Drummond, DJJ, Jalen more was suspect. You just can’t play respectable defense with him on the floor. Combine that with his Celtics series offense: he had a 9.4 PER, hugely negative on/off and 47% TS in 4 games, so I get it!

Coby would've helped them too.

They have too many players who don't shoot well or did shoot well in the past, but not right now. Thompson, Holland, Huerter, LeVert, etc.

Thompson is averaging more RPG than Duren which is sad. Duren was a 20 11 guy during the regular season.

Unlike in the past with the likes of Williams, Horford, and/or Porzingas. Celtics have nobody to guard Embiid now and with Tatum hurt they really stood a slim chance.

He is but Embiid was scoring at will anyway. My thought was at least they could have offense on the other side of the ball. During that 2nd and 3rd quarter stretch, Boston had zero offense other than Brown shooting tough shots. Then you had guys like Hugo, and Scheierman shooting wide open bricks.

Either way, I am sure there is alot of soul searching for Vooch to get benched like that. It might have been his first healthy scratch probably since his rookie season.

If Embiid stays healthy and plays the way he did when he won the MVP then the sixers can go far.
