Mouth kiss? Come on dude! You need to step up your game!
This is worth at least a lube and tug.![]()
Seriously though if this is legit it sounds like we got this in the bag.

No the Rockets pitch to Carmelo is having a "Big 5". Lowry/Harden/Parsons/Melo/D12. This is the real reason why Lowry has yet to sign back in Toronto as of now. Morey's pitch is one of we may be in the west but we will be able to put one of the best starting 5's on a NBA floor in league history. This info is not being reported by BSPN but it is the truth. My gut tells me Melo stays in New York or comes to Houston. Morey is a great salesman.
League history? That's way over the top.
Also I don't see there being enough ball to go around. Lowry, Harden and Melo are daily ball dominant.

Sadly, in Houston it is.
To prove to Melo we are just as awesome of fans, lets get our Hinrich-Insanity on.

If they can pull that off- it'd truly be formidable.
Any idea how that would work salary wise?
Dwight- 21.44
Harden- 14.69
Melo- 20?
Lowry-
Parsons-
cap holds 7x.507
That leaves $3.5M in cap, $17.3 to the tax apron. right?
Dude I honestly don't know how they could pull it off either, but if anyone could it would be Morey. He is a good GM that is ultra aggressive and Let Alexander has said many times he is not afraid of the luxury tax.

I was waiting for that. I'm taking any "news" with a huge grain of salt, one way or another. Let's remember that "journalists" are all pumping stuff to generate hits and reads. Nothing more.
WinCity wrote:KeithBoothfan wrote:The chatter that Chicago "offered 15mil and Melo won't take it" may be true in a strictly literal sense. The meeting went on for a long time. I'm sure that at some point the Bulls said "this (15mil) is what we can offer you right now, after amnestying/dumping Boozer and other minor moves we can make. We'd be thrilled if you would sign at that number, but we know you're worth more than that. Now, let's discuss how we can open up more space...(discussion continues)"
The discussion undoubtedly included contingencies and alternate scenarios. If the entire contract/financial discussion was "we're offering $15mil, take it or leave it", I'd be astounded.
Well put. You have certainly recovered nicely from your Taj-kamikaze theory
MisterRoy wrote:Magilla_Gorilla wrote:gf2020hotmail wrote:How do the Rockets have the caproom to sign both Melo and Lowry? My understanding is that it's a either/or scenario.
The Rockets, if they get rid of everybody except Dwight, Harden, and Parsons cap hold could have about 21-22 million in cap space that Melo & Lowry would split.
And no defense.

And who gives a crap about some touristy shopping area???
I wouldn't even go to the mall if I had Melo's money, I'd just hire some people and say "here, go buy some things I might like"

There is no opinion. Isola is a NY Daily News hack. Anything written by that paper towards Dolan is almost always fake.
Google Dolan, Cablevision, Newsday and Daily News dispute. Decade + wide public fight.

Agreed about Deng. He would a perfect fit in HOU.
As for LaLa we need to be proactive on this. Someone needs to find a way to get to her. We can't have this female spoiling our titles hopes because she like shopping on fifth avenue!

Everybody knows this is fly over country. All we have are haystacks and cornfields.

Even Morey doesn't have special powers that let him circumvent the salary cap. Only way it hapens is if Lowry & Melo agree to split 21 million.
