What does this mean? He's under contract for 2 more seasons (a horrible one @ $18M per year).
if anyone is in position to choose his own trade destination, it is Evan Turner

I really want Miles Bridges in addition to whoever we draft at 6. So I'd like to trade up.

Man, while usually that would be enticing,
It would take minutes and cap away from the young core the bulls are building.

Obviously yes. But why would the Knicks move down from 9 to 22 just to shed salary? They are insanely rich. And if its for cap space, that's an enormous draft sacrifice to make a run at the market. 'They'd basically have to have a back door promise from someone that they couldn't otherwise sign outright without the trade.
Their motivation is that KP is disgruntled on not being on a playoff team and a draft pick won't help their near-term prospects.
Speaking of trades...Kawhi not?

Seems like NYK won't be trading their pick. However.....that might tee up an alternative. 6+22+Portis+filler for Porzingis. NYK kick starts their rebuild with 2 top 10, a good young big, and 22. I'd even throw in something else. Bulls take on Porzingis along with injury risk. By midseason, you roll out a lineup of Dunn-LaVine-Nwaba-Laura-Kristaps.

Hell no.

Why not? Ingram is a 2nd overall pick who was a better prospect than the guys we're looking at in our range and is slowly living up to expectations, and we get another likely lottery pick out of it.

A Wiz fan on the Trade board found a Portis, Val, #6 for Beal trade appealing yesterday

Why on Earth would LA ever do that? Ingram is on his way to being a really good player, maybe even all star level. Made a really nice jump this year. There isn't anyone available at #6 who is a better prospect than Ingram right now.
The best part of this ridiculous trade is you have LA giving up a 1st round pick too![]()

I too would find completely fleecing another team appealing.
