Last year of this ****. Good with me.

well...everyone thought the same thing w/ favre...on multiple occasions. but favre wasn't unhappy w/ management, so it's different

if the packers pay rodgers next offseason he might well stay. but it doesn't look very likely

It will be a surprise if he does come back without getting his way. This is a man that cut off his family because they don’t act right according to him. He is nothing if not disciplined in his reactions if he makes up his mind to be offended. So maybe his plans include getting his way. If not and he came back it’ll be a surprise to me. Then again business is different than family. But the guy is tough.

Good video on Fields from Dan Durkin.

His ability to run PA, complete the deep ball and the fairly successful offensive identity that they established last year has me excited because they're all movin in the same direction.

Reports are Dalton looks like an 11 year vet, and Fields looks like a guy on his 3rd day of camp. Glad Dalton is good enough to let Fields sit & learn at the moment.

The funny part is, every single reporter is running interference for Fields instead of just the facts. God we want him to be good so badly.

Yeah I know, he’s just a rookie. I’ll only just say he’s supposed to he one of the most advanced and polished rookies ever, so he can’t be the typical rookie now. So I totally think this is what everyone says it is, but I’d be lying if I also didn’t say I wish his practice problem wasn’t some reportedly slow reads. Because, well, yeah.

Hicks/Goldman/Bilal is a super strong foundation considering the steps forward Bilal took last year.

I read Christian Jones looks good as well, it would be nice if he could spell Danny and holy hell would it be nice to have a legit third pass rusher on the edge (or a second pass rusher depending on how you felt about Quinn).

A legit defense + rushing attack is the franchise's best friend right now. Dalton can only win under those circumstances and we'd be foolish to try and put JF1 in a position where he's gotta be the franchise savoir from day one.

Good news for us - we avoided getting into Wentz + Foles has a market now.

Getting something for Foles would really be nice. The Jets being the other landing spot but Indy has to have some real urgency/desperation right now. I believe they have cap space to eat his deal as well.

Update: that's gunna be a minute for Wentz. Foles has familiarity with the system (and an interesting relationship with Wentz LMAO). The Colts are in win now mode with that OLine/Defense.

The problem with Dalton is he wasn't even good when he was good.

Pace dodged a billet there with Wentz being a primadonna. Dude is a likely bust now.

Impossible. He had not sprouted angel wings during the second practice.

He's an effortless athlete.

Tevin Jenkins' back is concerning - they're starting to give the 5th rounder Borom some snaps at LT now.

Just got back in from the Family Fest at Soldier Field. If Justin Fields is even a liiiittle bit good he will own this city.
I'm not here to argue.

Teven Jenkins' back injury terrifies me. Getting Chris Williams vibes... He needs those reps.

On Greenberg's radio show today he was talking about how Louis Riddick has been hearing that the professionalism and traits Fields is showing behind the scenes has been off the charts and the last time he heard anything similar was from people close to the Chiefs when Mahomes got there.
