no one is giving Miami enough credit like some other posters have pointed out. The heat have just as much cap room if I'm not mistaking. Pat Riley.....wade and lbj, def getting a title with that.

OK, let's try this again:

36% Cleveland
25% Bulls
20% Heat
10% Nets
5% Knicks
3% Wizards
< 1% chance everyone else.

agreed, I said a while ago that I think he is going back to Clev. somehow but that I had an inclining (blame the finger) that Miami was a strong possibility.

Has anybody taken D-Wade's mindset into consideration?

1. Would he want LeBron to come to Miami, take over as the best/favorite player, and get all the credit for putting the Heat back on top? Would Wade's ego allow that?

2. If the Heat miss the boat on Bosh/Amare, and LeBron decides to stay in Cleveland, would Wade then bolt Miami? Pat Riley surely has to take this into consideration as well when prioritzing free agents. If they don't get Wade some help, he's gone, and the franchise is royally F'd.

^ well wade has been drooling at the idea of playing with lebron...every time you mention it he gets a huge grin on his face...he said he has no problem sharing the spotlight or being # 2 to lebron, wade has said numerous times to lebron "were doing it together in 2010, right lebron?"

i think wade stays even if bosh, lebron, amare go elsewhere

at absolute worst...i see miami landing boozer and joe johnson to pair with wade

it really comes down to lbj if he wants to come to mia or not...if he comes, the draw is south beach, wade, riley and beasley + 9 mil in cap or other max and no beasley

or he can just go to chicago

if he wants to win, these are the 2 best options

some say lbj wouldnt want to play in mj's shadow, some say lbj wouldnt want to go to wade's team

neither situation is perfect

Forget that - it is still the most likely outcome. Vegas, all the insiders, etc, still say his most likely decision will be to stay in Cleveland.

But the Bulls are right behind as the next best option. IMO it's going to depend on whether Gilbert/Ferry can bring in a "wow" coach, and possibly pull off a blockbuster trade on draft night.

Right now, to me:

40% Cleveland
35% Bulls
15% Nets
5% Knicks
3% Wizards
1% Clippers
< 1% chance everyone else.

dunno how you could consider the heat to have less than a 1% chance. If winning is as important to lebron as he says, i'd have to put them in the same realm as the knicks and nets, if not higher.

I wouldn't I'd put them right where he has them.. Yeah it's nice conversation and idea of Wade and Bron pairing up. But lets sit back and think of LeBrons ego, and what his legacy means to him..

He knows Wade is already 1 up on him with the Championships, pairing up with Wade this will always remain the same no matter how many they win in the future.(yeah they are friends but they are rivals on the court).

He also knows that when debating Wade vs LeBron vs Kobe vs MJ down in history, many people will claim LeBron was Wades Pippen.. LeBron couldn't win without Wade! But Wade won without Bron!!

You think he's not thinking about this? I know he is, you know he is.. He's not going to disrespect his boy by flat out saying no, but he's not going to Miami and I'm willing to bet on that.

Then go check out LeBrons face when Wade was recieving the All-Star game MVP, he wasn't a happy camper  I doubt he wants to go through that again with the Final MVP's up for grabs.

LeBron will go to a team where he is the clear cut #1 man.. It's not that cut and dry with Wade on the team.

i dono...i think we are overrating this lebron ego thing

lebron respects d wade as both a friend and elite player...lebron has to know that teaming with wade who is willing to defer to him is a historic duo that will devestate the league for a long time...maybe your right but im of the belief that lebron wants to win and get paid first and foremost as any player would

not saying that hell choose miami but i gotta believe its extremely tempting for ANYONE

People can take this for its worth (and I realize from your perspective that wont seem like much). I have nothing to prove here, just thought I'd share the rumblings I've heard. A few months ago I alerted you guys that a coworker of mine is an acquaintance of a few of Rose's people.

He hadnt talked to them til Monday, but basically some strong optimism was expressed to my coworker about the chances of Bron of coming here. Rose's circle has been told to keep quiet on all this stuff.

I understand that DWade would be great next to Bron.. but so would Rose.. and isn't a 21 year old Rose + his upside a better pairing for him than 28 or 29 year old DWade?

I mean, as it stands, they're really similar players right now, and Wade is in his prime while Rose is nowhere near his.

Just playing Devil's advocate.

Seeing as you've been posting here a long time and I've never known you to really be anything but a good poster (although a bit of a Rose homer  ), I'm gonna go ahead and buy into it. :D

im not denying rose would be a great pairing

i give chicago a great chance, no argument there

i just think miami should have a much better chance than most ousiders think and IMO is a strong suitor for lbj

With NJ losing the lottery the chances of LBJ wearing a Bulls jersey next season seems very likely. But I'm with the school of thought "if he comes here great if not we will be alright."

Miami's has the best chance imo. But your opinion of our fit is apparently based on benching Deng, using only 6 players, making no trades, and not using 6 million in capspace.

Yeah, I mean I tread carefully in that I myself hate unprovable rumors that get posted here. Basically the few things I've learned from this guy are that there was some middling-level of Rose/Gordon friction last year...... and Doug indicated he had heard that too. And then this I found out about this morning.

They're giving you a hard time.

I think we're all aware that Miami would be a good suitor.

The "LeBron wouldn't want to play with Wade for his ego" angle is a little bit of logic mixed in with some wishful thinking.

Miami's a suitor, but Bron wants to set himself up for the rest of his career with a young teammate.

Wade is older than his years due to injury(the way he plays full-throttle)

Return to Chicago Bulls
