You are reiterating what everyone knows and isn't doubting. Clearly no one is doubting that DRose and others like him could be "easy pickens". In the same regard, no one can determine if allegations are fake until more data is released.

The likelihood of him and his friends having relations with her is equally as high if not greater than her making it entirely up. I personally do think they slept with her, however IMO it was consensual so no, the literal rape allegation wouldn't fly, but the physical act took place. If this goes to trial, we wont be arguing whether or not it happened but whether or not it's to be considered rape.

That is my point. I agree with you. Everyone knows this except one person, the one I was responding to, and not just that post but his sentiments throughout the thread. He seems to think it's just a given that Derrick Rose and his friends drugged and raped a woman because she said so two years later. That it has a one in a thousand chance of being bogus allegations. Even though there are many holes in the story and she only decided to go after money years later because a friend urged her to call an attorney and try to cash in.

I thought Rose's accuser got the idea from the Kane accusation. Rose's case sounds like total baloney and now that Kane's case is looking good for him how much more for Rose. Those lying chick's cases will get cleared up before the season starts and I hope Kane and Rose sue them back for ruining their reputations

Yeah, couple of things... first, no Kaner DNA found below her waist, reportedly, by Kane's lawyers. Secondly, it's come out that the accuser actually deleted or changed her name on all social media, just before she says Kane did this. Her family is apparently also lawsuit crazy. Her lawyer has represented the father on several lawsuits he brought looking for money.

If all those reports are true, I feel sorry for Kane because his rep is still so tarnished by this. Such a shame how easy it is to ruin a person with nothing but false accusations even when the evidence shows they were full of crap and just trying to cash in.

I agree and I SMH and think.. "how could these guys be such idiots?" Then I think about what I would do if I were 25 and had the finest girls around constantly throwing themselves at you, even though many are trying to get preggo and even hatching evil schemes to cry foul play and shake you down for cash, I can see how a guy goes out with his old buddies and has one too many and winds up at home with some girl(s).

Also the girl whom now is identified had some friends that were bragging to others about the girl in talks for 1-2 million?? Geez, this smells of trash..... Obviously. High price to pay for fame and fortune sometimes, I suppose. Just really sucks because regardless of what happens, Kaner will always have his name connected to it. Rape or sexual assault of any kind is such a heinous crime that I really believe penalties for bringing false accusations need to be as severe as the penalties for the crime itself.

And, sure, Kaner is no angel and still has a lot of growing up to do and probably shouldn't even ever be putting himself in this position (same with Derrick), but it's one thing to be called a bad boy, or a rude, narcissistic, immature, arrogant dick.. it's a whole other World when sex crimes start getting connected to their names.

I agree with you johnnyvann that these girls need to be punished heavily, not only for ruining someones name, but even more for ruining other women's lifes for mocking these hideous crime just to try and make some money out of it. Get a job and own your life!
