Nothing other than the Knicks have everything "under control." Which could mean any number of things so I wouldn't worry about it at the moment. If he starts getting into specifics I might start paying attention, keeping in mind that even if he does have "solid sources", things change quickly all the time in free agency.

There's a bunch of reasonable theories as to why Melo hasn't announced:

1. Waiting for Miami's 3 to decide first/holding out hope for Miami.
2. Using the Lakers as leverage to get the full max from New York.
3. Using the Lakers as leverage to be signed-and-traded to Chicago.
4. Just cuz.
