If they talk about it, they'll just blame the injuries for why they were unable to make a trade.

Maybe there's some truth to them not being allowed to be able to make a trade. I'm skeptical about that, though you'd think if their jobs truly were in jeopardy they'd aggressively try to make a trade to get them into the playoffs.

That said, it's truly head-scratching that they would make no moves at all. We're in 9th place. We're not in the playoffs and we're not tanking. Why wouldn't you pick a lane? Either make a move to try to propel yourself into the playoffs (i.e. Rose) or dump guys who likely aren't part of the future but can help you win (Thad, Valentine, Dunn, etc.). Last time the Bulls were realistic contenders, they elected to keep Bogans as their starting shooting guard rather than upgrading the position heading into the playoffs. These guys just never make a move to help them reach their goals.

I don’t think we will as the guys will take awhile to perform well.

Pax needs to resign. He tried twice but JR talked him out of it. Pax needs to walk away. We know JR will never fire him.

How can they believe that? we'll likely have more than 40 losses ( at minimum) when injured players come back.

The lack of rumors bugs me too. Even if it was a long shot, you'd want to at least hear that they inquired about Russell, Morris, Kuzma, etc.

That was a great trade for the Warriors, they got a potentially very good wing player ( yes ,I still believe he can play much better for a better coach and in a better ambient) in Wiggins and sent a player who wouldn't be starting after the return of Curry and Kley.I never believed DLo would play in San Francisco for a long time.

I feel like it is one of those "good on paper" but bad in reality trades. Wiggins is a losing player. Kudos to Minny for unwinding 2 bad contracts (Wiggins and separately Dieng).

It doesn’t matter if Wiggins has been a losing player. He is coming to a Winning Culture which is exactly what he needs to realize his full potential. With Durant gone SF is a position of need for the Warriors.

Well, obviously. My point is he's a good player and we should want him on this team. He's considerably better and a ton more durable than Carter. Either way, it's over with. It's just disappointing to see this front office sitting on their hands once again when they have so many holes.

being frustrated with the current state of the team doesn't mean you should want them to do bad moves just for the sake of making a move. that's how you make a bad situation worse. want an example? just look at what the knicks are doing...

My interest and explanation for wanting Drummond is well-documented. You can look it up if you want to understand it, but I strongly disagree that acquiring the best rebounder in the entire NBA would be a bad move.

Our only hope at this point is that the silence at the deadline means that EVERYONE is out in the off season and they want to let the new front office and coach figure out the direction of the franchise. That's all we got to hold on to at this point...

Or if there is a decree from Jerry or Michael you would think that decree would be to tank and get rid of any non major piece. Like Valentine or Young. Honestly none of this makes any sense from a basketball or business prospective. We will finish in 10th or 11th place with our crazy difficult schedule down the stretch. They cant possibly REALLY think we have playoff hopes right? None of this makes any sense. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

We'll,this is his biggest chance for proving he isn't a losing player.I keep believing he'll be much more useful for the Warriors than Russell could be.

If Paxson is still around this means absolutely nothing. Ownership has faith in Paxson so it will probably be a hire that has to report to Paxson.Status Quo for these clowns.

Unless its an announcement the team has been sold and him and Gar Forman are leaving he has absolutely nothing of interest to say. I mean really, who wants to hear more babble from this bunch of clowns.

That’d be ideal, but honestly, if the Bulls brought in someone worth a sh*t that had to “report to Paxson” I wouldn’t be bothered as Pax has shown before that he’s more that happy to take a backseat.

The issue is, who that’s really worth bringing in, really wants to report to Paxson? If the Bulls are serious about doing what needs to be done, they need to sanitize the FO. Just clean it out. Tell Pax “thanks for the memories”, and move onto another chapter.

They will say exactly this, there was no move worth making and can’t just trade just to trade. Also that they still like the roster and will use the injury excuse again.

Don't forget they'll say how a good coach Boylen is and that they keep trusting his work.

What an absolute **** joke. Not only is this franchise run by morons, they are also apparently incredibly arrogant and/or lazy.

There is NO reason that you shouldn't have dumped Thad for whatever the **** you could find. Dunn getting hurt **** them but they waited too long and now he'll walk for nothing as well.

This is so depressing as a fan.
