He said Melo to the Bulls, he apparently broke Allan to the Bears. When pressed he said it is not 100% or it would be everywhere but this is what he thinks... In other words nothing to see here.

That's cool, but the Boozer thing is pretty much out the door since his $16.8 million would throw off the Lin/Hill/Young salaries.

If Chicago wanted to deal Boozer to LA for Gasol they should have either acted quicker or now they would have to use their non-guarantees and Dunleavy or Snell.

Then that would pigeonhole them to a Carmelo sign-and-trade of Boozer + Dunleavy or Snell + Butler maybe + picks.

Nash and Gasol for Boozer works. Bulls then move Nash to Philly (he's bought out to go to Clips for vet min). Bulls include non guaranteed contracts (to Ny) and some picks. Philly gets Snell.

Main issue I think is that you'd need to send assets to LA to get them to take Boozer. Then more to philly to get them to take Nash, then to NYK. Not sure how many assets you have to deal unless you start including Mirotic/McDermott.

LA doesn't have cap space guys. Please stop doing deals where they do Gasol for Boozer.

Perhaps the "no S&T" is "no S&T including Boozer?" Otherwise don't see how moving on Pau is anything but giving up on Melo.

The Lakers can't take Boozer anymore.

They can if they send Nash too. Not sure they want to do that though for personal/personnel reasons.

Sorry for the boom, but marketing is working on Melo. It seems Melo will officially be a Bull. This is a great day for us Bulls fans after the past 3 seasons. Please, I can't share but people laughed at me on Sunday with Lebron info. Travel arrangements are being made. People laughed at me about Rose going to LA to visit.

I'm not posting again, but to all Bulls fans, it finally worked. Give credit to Garpax, Thibs, Noah and Rose!

Me either. I never have though. Not saying he is a bad player at all but never thought he was that amazing. He helped but Kobe still got him his ring. Lamar was as important IMHO.

Exactly. I'm sure he'd be a perfect 3d big, or a passable starting one, but if we whiff on Melo, that's far from what should be our priority.
That makes me even more suspicious. Either the FO completely disagrees with me or they know something about we losing Taj and/or Mirotic.

The latter might be the case. If Pau comes one is surely gone.

They don't need capspace, they'd just need to send out Nash with him. Hopefully to NY.
