Our pick (let's say #4)
Dunn
Felicio
Hutchison
Valentine

I would aim high for Beal and include Lavine.

Thank God you aren't GM. #4 AND LaVine for Bradley Beal?

The gap between Lavine and Beal are huge. Lavine is a BAD basketball player. Beal is very good on both sides of the court, and he's 25 years old. The difference between the two is absolutely a lottery pick.

I still think the best use of #4 (or worse depending on lotto) is to packages either #37 or Dunn and try for someone's pick before 12 and either a later 1st or a future 1st.

Beal is better, but saying LaVine is BAD is pretty ignorant and hyperbolic at this point. The upgrade is not worth a top 5 pick IMO. We wouldn't win **** with just swapping out Beal and giving up our pick. I'd rather accumulate assets than consolidare for a guy that isn't elite and won't make us a contender. Of course this considering my opinion that LaVine is not BAD. Even the stats critics like you loved to quote don't support that anymore. You must be stuck in 2018.

Lavine will prove to be better than Beal by next season’s end.

That's just as bad as the post about trading for Beal. Let the kid grow, but let's not insanely fast growth rate for him.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

What-why? Trade #4 and #37 for #12 and lets say #25?

Because 4=12 and 25>37...dude - it's math!

Exactly.

Yeah, IMO Zach has improved to the point where he's not a problem that needs to be fixed in terms of developing the roster. Now I do agree that this roster needs to add a top 10 talent to become a contender. I see two opportunities this offseason:

1) The draft - it's mostly luck at 2 levels - where we land and who we draft. If we land Zion...that could be enough.

2) FA - this is tougher...we'd need to unload enough contracts to get to a max contract, and then get lucky to attract a star.

Sure there's skill, but probably more luck in both.

Would you trade the #1 pick for Ben Simmons?

Why? A 22 year old 6’10 point guard thats nearly averaging a triple double would greatly improve the Bulls. He would be a great fit with this current roster too. He has his flaws but all 22 year olds do.

Courtney Lee to Chicago, sending Denzel Valentine and Cristiano Felicio to Dallas. This could be an interesting move on type of deal. The Bulls pick up a veteran back up for Lavine, and get out of the last year of Felicio's contract.

How about making the deal bigger: Dunn, Valentine, Felicio for Lee and Brunson.

I would consider anything from 2 down for Ben Simmons. If they can’t get Ja/Garland then it’s a no brainer. I’d have a hard time if bulls end up with pick 2-4.

He’s ultra talented and the Bulls already have shooting at every other position. You just need a coach to use him right, not sure Boylen is the guy. I also have questions about his personality and attitude.

Also, Philly doesn’t want the pick, this would need to be some type of 3 team deal.

How bout we draft Zion and trade WCJ for him straight-up. Throw in Dunn if need be.

I don’t like the fit as much in that situation. You’d have two non-shooters on the floor. You’d also need to play Lauri or Zion at center.

I would have to do my diligence with Zion, but I might just pull the trigger on that especially if we can swap picks. Without a doubt, I would do it for the second pick. I just think we are all being too hard on a 21-year-old kid. He has to mature for sure, but Laurie, Zack, Otto, and to some extent, Carter fit Simmons in that they stretch the floor and open up the middle. Additionally, that line up would be huge and with some good coaching and buy-in, it could be dominating defensively.

If the 6ers panic on either of their young guys Bulls have to jump on it quick.

Simmons/Dunn/Archi
Zack/Dunn/Denzel
Otto/Hutch/Denzel
Laurie/Otto/Hutch
Carter/Lopez

"SMALL" BALL LINEUP
Dunn
Zack
Otto
Simmons
Laurie
