No one, really. Back then I skimmed infrequently and barely posted. When I'd post I'd forget my username and start a 12th one, which took a second. A couple times drunk, I had long debates with myself while using different usernames. It got heated, and I started taunting one of me for getting banned until I, too, got banned. Good times.

Thank you Doug for relying the messages of what your sources are telling you..

With that said, I'm still not in celebration mode, because his source could be getting B.S information and not know himself also.. I wouldn't be weary of the source if Bron doesn't come to the Bulls, there's just so much misinformation being sent around, some by LeBrons people, and some through other outlets.. We should all take this with a grain of salt until the announcement is made.. Even though good news is better than dissapointing news.. Still hard to believe, but thanks again for telling us.

Well Doug, just like the Bulls, you are now officially "all in."

Doug -- is this the same source that provided most of your inside info in the past? Such as Kirk Hinrich will definitely be traded 2 years ago IIRC

As to the separate thread thing, all sorts of threads that technically could/should get merged end up as a stand alone thread. Tech9yne, who guessed right on a couple of things several years ago routinely gets his own thread when he claims to have the inside scoop on something and people actually post thank you's for posting yet another fizzled rumor.

When one of the guys who is the heart and soul of this board posts that he has inside info -- and has the decency to admit its just a little buzz to be taken with a grain of salt instead of posing as the internet version of The Great Carnac, I think he's earned enough respect to get a thread.

I don't mean to be a dick to anyone here. I will say this, it has been my experience that Doug does have some real contacts around the Bulls and they know who he is as far as a poster and a blogger. I also know Doug has repeatedly *not* passed on rumors in the past because they seemed far fetched or poorly sourced. Its one thing to join realgm, post a stupid "sourced" rumor and never be heard from again. As Doug notes, he is going to hear it for quite some time if this turns out not to be true. He has significant incentive to not relay this information.

So, if Doug posts something like this, he didn't do it for attention and he didn't do it lightly and he does have legit sources. I suspect his sources have just as much credibility as Stephen A Smith, who has got a ton of attention.

Personally, I'm still not "all in". Even if Lebron is heavily leaning towards Chicago and this report is true, this is not a done deal. Stuff can change quickly.

I laughed when I saw the Stephen A. Smith article claiming Bosh, Lebron, AND Wade to Miami. I can't believe anyone would actually believe that, and I believe a few days ago he did say Lebron NY. Funny how he changed his mind so quickly. I believe Doug way before I would believe him.

I'm already on record, but I'll say it again that I think Lebron/JJ to the Bulls and Bosh to Miami. No inside info or anything, just a gut feeling. I don't think Bosh could accept being the #3 option in Chicago, because he'd obviously be behind Lebron and I don't think Chicago fans/media would put him ahead of the hometown star Rose(who could potentially be a bigger star than him in the future regardless if Bosh is here or not). I'm not sure who NY would get, but I couldn't care less if my above prediction comes true.

Are are looking for work. Many firms want you and they are all coming to talk to you about the job.

You know the firms but you dont know what they are going to say.
So why would you pick a firm before you talk to them???????? that is just stupid.
I still think Lebron is going to the Bulls.

But i dont think he has made up his mind before he talks to the teams.
Would you?

But you forgot the part where days before the interview you were talking to these firms through back channels and know what they are all about.
