I don't feel like making a game related post but the reality is, they shot lights out again, Bulls went over 8 mins without scoring, Bulls had a few calls go against them (still don't get how they cant review that one with Boozer and Amare inside the circle) and yet the Bulls were one bad Kursed Thomas/Rose miscommunication away from possibly making it a 3pt game with just under a min to play

The Knicks are good, but they're not THAT good, Bulls have just played poorly the 2 times they've faced them, allowing them to be the aggressor, you can't do that, you need to come out and punch them in the mouth to start the game, and someone should have reacted to Stoudamires dirty foul on Rose after the whistle, Thibs should have let JJ out there just for a couple of mins with instructions to commit a hard foul and send a message right after either one of those plays

No Boozer, then no Noah....I like our chances if we have both those guys healthy, the Knicks cant keep shooing 100% on 3's every time we play them, until then I hope Rose let's this game get him angry

Bogans is also an atrocious defender. He lacks athleticism and has virtually no energy on the court. I've watched hundreds of basketball games this NBA season and I have yet to see a worse player anywhere in the league who plays more than 5 minutes a game.

The problem is Brewer ain't the answer, either.

We need someone to space the floor in the starting lineup.

I'd start Korver at the 2, and try to work Johnson into the rotation.

JJ? JJ barely got minutes in a 40 point blowout and had like 3 TOs in those few minutes.

Yea................he isn't the answer.

I didn't say he was the answer.

I'd simply give him Korver's backup SF minutes (after moving Korver into the starting lineup).

Bogans is useless. At least JJ can make a play or two. I can put up with his bone-headedness for 10 minutes over Bogans sucking the life out of Gaia.
Scottie Pippen's response to whom he would pick for his running mate, Michael or LeBron: "That's a dumbass question. I've never done anything with LeBron. I wouldn't take LeBron to the movies."

Dude, you guys trolled our boards and we showed respect. Grow a pair and deal with it. This is what you expect when you face a rival that you claim is a bad team.

You guys played hard. We didn't play are best either. Hopefully you can beat Detroit.

I agree. And despite his low basketball IQ, he's probably the best creator on the team outside of Derrick and Joakim which is really telling.

Awful game.
I knew from the beginning the Bulls would lose by playing fast. They're simply not used to it and they play to the opponent's strenght.
First of all i want to say that the refs were awful tonight. They really screwed us over. Every call went one way. I felt that the momentum was changing in the fourth but everytime the refs would make the wrong call (Korver on the break, fouled by Gallinari on the layup -> no foul -> Knicks score on the break; Boozer scores with the foul -> charge). Those two examples are just two of all the calls in which the Knicks got.
Obviously the Knicks got really hot from three, thus stopping any run we would try to make. Our defense was trash tonight. I thought Kurt Thomas did a great job tonight (5th foul on him was a joke. Another example of why the refs screwed us is the block by Kurt on Amar'è. There's no way that's a jump ball. That's travel. Obviously Amar'è won the jumpball since Kurt can't jump more than 1 inch and the Knicks scored).
Next time we play the Knicks we need to slow the tempo down and get the ball down low to Boozer more. I always feel that he plays way better defense (or at least tries to) when he's consistantly fed the ball down low on offense. The knicks are not used to slow paced games, since Mike D'antoni is a all offense, no defense coach. If we play a slow paced game, chances are that by moving the ball very quickly the Knicks will mess up defensively leaving an open shot.
Recap of the game:
Bulls play fast and bad (lots of turnovers and bad shots), Rose is forced to take a lot of shots, Knicks start hitting 3s, refs are awful.

That he tries to convert around defenders near the rim continues to be a problem. He makes some shots so tough that they just become low percentage.

28 shots, 3 FTA. It shouldn't happen. I'm just not sure how he can get to learn that skill of drawing fouls, flopping, whatever it takes.

You answered your own question. He needs to stop with the circus "there ain't no fouls on the playground" shots, and just go through guys...like Wade. Then the refs will have no choice but to call them.

Bulls will struggle against good teams until Noah gets back and can't think about contending until we upgrade the sg.

Deliberately riling another fan base? Knowing exactly what you were doing, what with your lengthy history of posting and general antagonisation of Bulls fans? Yeah, probably. So go home before you get one.

The Bulls are not too strong of a half court team however. Rose is the best in transition, but just has few other players to pass to that excel there.

I think we need to run more pick and roll with Rose straight up the middle (like we did last year with Noah - but Booze is far better). We always run it on the side and this closes off some of our options.

We had some success with Rose and Deng in a 2 man game coming out of halftime, and have as well in the past, but we seem to abandon it fast.

Landry was excellent. Sure, I'd trade Korver, Brewer and Bogans for him in a second. He was a difference maker.

DRose dominated the ball far too much and made lots of bad decisions which seemed to take the team mentally out of the offense. He had some great steals ... but that was the only real highlight to his day.

Boozer was sort of effective ... and despite putting up 25 shots ... could have actually been used more than he was. He was there for a lot more passes. Too many turnovers from him .... where he seems to pick up three a game on the offensive end alone. The bad charging call late (Stoudemire was shown to have one whole foot inside the circle) likely cost the Bulls a shot at a late game comeback.

This team is tired after this afternoon. I'll be amazed if they can hang with Detroit tomorrow.

No need to BS like that, it's okay. You want respect? Most people here said that the Knicks are a good team, not a great team. A playoff team. What more do you want people to say? As far as what team is better, I don't think you'll find many people outside New York agreeing you are on our level at full strength or better...but that will be answered when we play at full strength.
