That's just a guess. He's unproven at the nba level. Why give up something proven for something that uncertain?

Reminds me a little of Serge Ibaka

Okafor, Nene, Gortat, Anderson V and Asik (If Houston gets Dwight) could all be available. They aren't better then Noah, but adding any with LMA is a strong front court.

LMA is the 2nd scorer people want and he is a big which is a perfect combo to Rose. In this league you have to give to get and LMA is locked in for two more seasons. Portland is not going to just dump him.

Oh Christ. You have got to be kidding me.

Am I getting punked? Wheres Ashton?

Noah is better yes...but Gortat provides defense, rebounding, rim protector, an he's cheaper an a healthier player. Fact is, you don't Aldridge type players, that's where you get the big improvement.

19.5pts, 11.2 rebs, .599 TS%, 21.3 PER the season before he came to the Bulls

compared to Aldridge's 21.1, 9.1, .530 TS%, 20.4 PER last season.

Aldridge isn't any more 'transcendent' than Boozer was in 2010.

I don't want to trade Noah but if it really comes down to it....I would. Plus deng an boozer could be goners next year leaving you with a ton of cap room to find your replacement for Noah.

Roses contract, plus Aldridge's new deal, plus Butlers deal, plus Mirotic or Taj - doesn't leave a whole hell of a lot of money left to get a C.

The difference in production between Boozer and Aldridge isn't great enough for me to include Noah in the deal.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

I like the beat in this video. Very Neptunes like....Anyway, everyones saying we draft Dieng as a Noah replacement but isnt that contingent on a) hes available at 20 and b) we dont include 20 in the trade to get aldridge?

Bulls: LMA
Portland: Taj, (DENG: the best asset we can get with him from a 3rd team. maybe DET or SAC pic), CHA pick, (if we need more to be put in to sweetin the deal add teh 20th on top of this)

let boozer walk to free up CAP space...

Rose/Nate
JJ Redick/Hirch
Buttler/ M. Pietrus (Vet Min)
LMA/ K. Martin (vet min)
Noah/#20 or Naz

the only issue from here is what can we get from another team for Deng that Portland likes. the whole deal depends on what Deng can get us.

Zach Randolph could opt out next year

You guys think Gortat is terrible lol no he's not Noah but he does what Noah does at a cheaper contract.

He's probably in the top 10 in double doubles..he's not a scrub

Replacing Noah with Aldridge isn't enough of an upgrade to get us a championship. The end goal would be to pair those two together.

I'd like to see Deng moved to a third team, with Taj and a couple firsts (CHA incl.) going to Portland. Fight to keep Jimmy but throw him in if it's necessary.

LMA is a much better shot creator than Boozer. He's a guy you could throw it into and do a lot of damage. It's been a while since a player has said they wanted to come to Chicago. Garpax has to take advantage of this if they want us to contend now.

Second scores are hard to find, but so are all star centers. If Aldridge wants to be a Bull, you don't have to trade Noah to get him in the end, even if you don't get him right now.

Most of the trade Noah arguments depend on the assumption we can somehow sneak in an steal Howard (no way) or at least take for granted we can get a substitute center. Teams have spend just as long trying to find a legit center as the Bulls have trying to get a #2 gun, often totally failing. Noah is also locked up contractually.

Lastly, Noah is the team leader and a true winner, a commodity just as rare as scorer or all-star center. Even Rose has acknowledged that Noah is essentially the team's leader.

Its unfortunate that LMA's shots result in him in the bottom quarter of all F/C in TS% (players scoring at least 10 ppg)
