We won against them in GS, with Derrick Rose with 10 turnovers and no Butler... But ok whatever makes you happy.

Thompson also missed the potential game winner. A shot he makes 9 out of 10 times.

If we'd play the Warriors right now anything but a Warriors sweep would really surprise me.

While I love the optimism, I don't see it.

They lost 1 game which they should have won. Think you're writing the Hawks off too quickly.

You can be that nitpicky about any NBA matchup though. I mean..ppl. an rebuttal your statement with the Bulls being shorthanded and main guys not shooting well and bad turnovers and whatnot. It basically is what you choose to believe and I choose to ignore to make statements like u did that

I am not writing off anyone as I mentioned in another post as I clearly states the Hawks may very well win the series. Just stating what some of us were saying abt the Hawks in general.

Completely meaningless. We should know better than to use individual regular season wins to predict playoff success.

You're right, but this starts with picking one regular season game as the reason why the Bulls are better than the Warriors. If we're going to discuss about meaningless things like this, we might as well mention that Thompson shot.

It's not completly meaningless. We may are inconsistent, but we usually show up against contenders and Warriors are this season if anything consistent team and historic team who lost only two games this season at home (Bulls and Spurs). We robbed them having repeating record at home since Bird and Celtics having only one defeat at home.

Sure, but a lot of people said the Hawks would fail in the playoffs. If they end up in the ECF and lose out to the Cavs, that's not a failure in my eyes. Despite their record, they were the second best team behind the Cavs.

They will likely end up where they should, as teams generally do in the NBA playoffs.

No it is completely meaningless. Regular season matchups mean absolutely nothing when it comes to the playoffs. Remember the Bulls back in 2011 against the Heat?
