Interested in seeing Chris Walker, long athletic big who was a top recruit coming out of HS. Looks like he has some potential. Came out of Florida way too early and has bounced around, but showed flashes in the D League last year.

He's an interesting big. He has size and length. His best asset is blocking shots but not sure how his overall game is. Hope he does well and the Bulls sign him.

UCONN alum here. He is a crazy good shot blocker. However, he is a foul machine. He is paper thin and is easy to bully down low.

His offensive game is raw. He is great at catching lobs, has a little hook shot and might be able to develop consistent short range jumper.

If he gets significantly stronger and learns not to bite on pump fakes he can be a third string back up.

He did really well in the D-League over the past two seasons:

94 G, 6 GS, 17 MPG, 59.5% FG, 27.3% 3P, 62.7% FT, 5.4 RPG (11.5 per 36), .7 APG (1.5 per 36), .5 SPG (1.1 per 36), 1.1 BPG (2.4 per 36), 7.6 PPG (16.1 per 36), 19.5 PER, 61.8% TS, 59.8% eFG, 120 ORtg, 110 DRtg, 4.9 WS, .148 WS/48, .9 BPM, 1.9 VORP

Plus, still only 22 years old and has excellent athleticism and size (6'10", 220 lbs). He's very quick, a great rebounder, and largely due to that youth and athleticism, still has a good amount of potential, in my opinion. He's the ideal guy with potential/upside to have on your SL squad. We need athletes. He's already got good defensive and rebounding abilities. Just needs to work on his offensive game. And still needs to get stronger...

He is perfect big to play with Markkanen. 7'0 C with 7'6 wingspan, 9'3 reach, rim protector and his best asset is blocking shots

EDIT: confirmation
Read on Twitter

 yes, would be nice backup big, behind Felicio in this year...

Some interesting potential bigs in SL. Long, lean, athletic, seem to be defensive or rebounding first ones. Which is what we need on the bench,

Payne needs to have one hell of a year in development. Good to see him putting in weight room work.

I know this is our Bulls summer squad thread but I dont mind if it becomes overall summer league thread. It seems Magic finally landed their superstar. Damn.

Isaac is a man amongst boys in that game. Abedayo was the only guy in that game who could match him in length, but he's nowhere close in mobility. I envision Markkanen doing the same in Vegas. The only thing stopping Lauri in SL is a shooting slump.

I just saw a long skinny guy who isn't that skilled yet. Give him sometime nothing I saw was elite besides length.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

I didn't see anything here that screamed superstar... Plus, it's Orlando Summer League. Stanley Johnson looked like an All-Star two years in a row in that league.

Nice player though, I think he'll be an interesting versatile wing. But I'm not sure if he'll be able to create looks on his own or be able to stretch his range to the three point line.

Bam has looked really impressive in two summer league games. Blocking shots, running the floor, shooting the midrange jumper, post ups. I have a feeling he's going to be a big piece of what the Heat are going to do with Whiteside. I think he's a steal.

Hi looked good. Cleaned up second chance points against a bad summer league team and hit some step backs. But as far as highlights that was as tepid as it gets!

"Superstar". 15 points on 12 shots against a very bad summer league team. Yesterday it was 7 points on 10 shots.

Slow your roll my friend!

It's SL, nothing much to take from it, but if you're expecting Isaac to come out top scoring, that's not him.

He's a raw guy that will be a make his mark on defense and the boards, has great positional versatility, 3 through 5, and has a skilled, athletic, role players game.

What is evident in those clips is he's more than a spot up shooter, he can pull up, step back, take on legged J's - he's not a star offensive player, but he is skilled.

He's the guy I wanted to fall instead of Markennen and frankly I was surprised Orlando took him over DSJ.

Gotta give it up to Bam once again, his play is suggesting this workouts were legit.

Sign him up to a dleague contract at least, so no one can steal him. They give you two additional roster spots for that in addition to the original 15.

He's a work in progress offensively, but is definitely a superstar potential player. Was hoping he would fall to the Bulls at 7. Not sure if the FO would have taken him though.

You would hope we walk away from SL with at least one signing - there's no reason not to. The younger the better..

Walker looks insanely athletic, but from what I've seen doesn't have any skills (for instance, no J), has a poor feel/IQ, and given the way he blocks shots, probably has an insanely high foul rate (looks to be right, about 5 fouls per 36 in the D-League). I'm just not sure there's a niche for an energy big like him at the PF spot anymore, and at 22, he'll need to show something at this stage to have much NBA upside.

Personally, I'm more interested to see how Blakeney goes. He's only 20, so plenty of development time, has NBA level athleticism and a quality jumpshot, but as of right now is a narrow minded scorer. He's a guy I'd give a contract to, maybe get him some run before LaVine gets back.
