But the Zach Collins signing might mean we are out of the derozan sweepstakes as well.

The extending Lavine part is BS. As many have stated, to extend Lavine we need cap space. That isn't really possibility anymore.

And I don't think Lavine want to give up the possibility of a full 5 year max

Maxing out Zach and getting Derozen seems impossible financially. They’d have to dump probably everyone, Thad, TBJ, White, and Aminu. Maybe even Vuc, lol

But the Lonzo deal hasn't actually happened yet - none of these deals actually get executed until Friday or whenever it is, so couldn't they line everything up so they first deal away whatever they have to deal away in order to extend Zach, extend Zach, and then only after all of that officially execute the Lonzo deal?

No because we opted not to go the cap space route. Can't go cap space route then choose to operate over the cap. That would mean lose MLE and Theis TPE. Also we probably don't even have any cap space to begin with if we fail to renounce Temple

I'd love some dumb bull luck where the Spurs are super interested in Valentine and we can S&T Valentine with Aminu and a bunch of 2nd rounders for DeRozan so we can maintain Lauri as a asset lol

When you look at what Butler and George went for, and Westbrook, trades for bigger names seem doable.
