All the moves from Billy to the risky Vuc trade and the signings were to prove that AK wasn’t pax and it is paying off.

He's really good when he gets in the paint, but he fires up a lot of low percentage long balls, too. At this point, I don't know how far you can go if he's your best player.

Doncic is all the Mavs have, he needs to dominate the ball. Guys like Porzingis or THJ just don’t cut it. Luka needs help badly.

Jokic, 2023.

I'm pretty positive that Jokic is coming to Chicago.

I just have have a sneaky suspicion that this one is a done deal. Lavine said before the season started, if they wanted him here, he's not going anywhere because he's aware of what they're building.

Call it wishful thinking, but I personally think he already knows.

Arturas still has an ongoing relationship with him as well.

Only saw bits and pieces of the 1st, 2nd quarter, and then the box score:

-I was shocked to see Alize have 7 rebounds in the limited minutes he got on the court --- however, I didn't not see or feel any real-time impact he had on the game. The last moment he had in the game was him stealing a rebound from one of our own guys (Lonzo, Zach, or Vuc? I forgot TBH) only for the ball to go out of bounds.
-Lonzo is still not that creative but at least those 3s actually dropped today. Still my dude, though.
-I like this Vuc that actually uses his size, works the paint, and doesn't just hang out 20 feet from the hoop

Well we used to dream about AD. This has more legs for sure with AK and Denver being injury riddled. Who is the last reigning MVP rumored to Chicago? It’s a turn for the positive.

Cool part about the foreigners is, they aren't high maintenance. That guy still shares a 3 bedroom apartment with his other two big brothers in Denver. So, I don't see money being the deciding factor for a guy like Jokic. I could be wrong but he'll make that money up and more in Chicago anyway.

Besides, it would be easier for Jokic to get stars to come to Chicago rather than Denver.

Yep. All this winning is fantastic, but our rise to national conversation again is, to me, the route to real contention. We make some waves with a surprising regular season record, then advance to the ECF, next off season who knows what disgruntled star sees himself as the final piece to bringing our first post-Jordan championship?

Allow me some brief irrational overconfidence - if you guys think we're having fun *this* season, just wait 2 years and start thinking about parades!

98 was senior year of HS for me, I still have pics going to grant park that day. We make it back, I’m flying from San Diego with the quickness

Maybe KPs terrible defense is all it take to get Vuc going. Guy went inside for some easy ones, loved the approach.

Loved that they had Vuc shoot the tech, just getting him easy points and build the confidence.

The game turned when Caruso figured out Brunson IMO. Watching Brunson flop around like a fish out of water, getting nowhere in the 3rd and 4th was a sight to see.

Ball shut down the chubby superstar over and over. Great overall game by him, not just the shooting. 21, 6, and 6, no turnovers.

The Caruso steal, Ball rocket, and Lavine 360 is the play of the season, and a microcosm of what AKME envisioned with their signings.

Demar was smooth throughout.

That Mavs team is Luka and role player garbage. Can’t believe they were a sleeper champion by some talking heads.

why must we criticize, players like doncic? wasn't he the player every single bulls fan craved to get 3 years ago? now he's a chubby superstar. I expect the bulls to play like this every game because there that good enough to do it. but after a win im not going to act like luka is beneath anyone we have. i think his problem is he's the only true superstar on the mavs. he never had a zach lavine or derozan. tim hardaway jr is very good and kp and very good but once luka gets a true co star he should instantly become the scariest player in the league because he can find anybody and get you open for a shot.

its nice to see our team playing like this. and draymond green might not be ready to go when we play the warriors. i prefer he does play because i just want to see how good the team can do against a full roster. i hope klay is back when we face them the second time. its all about gaining chemistry and how we bounce back from a loss.

and i think zach has taking it personal against anyone he challenged or played with during team usa. he seemed more pumped up then usual.

Oh yeah, with the Lavine connection that could definitely be a thing, or atleast another option if we strike out.

Karnišovas developed strong bonds with many people during his Nuggets’ tenure. Jokić is certainly one of them. When the Bulls and Nuggets played in March, Jokić acknowledged as much and addressed Karnišovas' new role.

“I just have a long relationship with him. He’s from Europe so (we) have a similar mindset. He’s a great guy to have," Jokić said. "This is a new challenge for him. I’m looking forward to see what he’s going to do. They have an All-Star this year [Zach LaVine] so that’s a good thing. I wish him all the best."

This guy is coming to Chicago. I didn't even read this until now lol.

Nice win! Missed most of the game, but saw most of the 4th. Glad to see some improvement from Vuc.

Time for the biggest test yet though. GS is playing like the best team in the league currently.

Don’t know that either are coming, but the Bulls are suddenly a destination for a star that is looking to get out of a situation. Big market, good team, likable players and coach and looks like they could be one guy away from contention. Welcome to anti-GarPax world (said By Rod Serling)

why do the bulls need another star player? the shots are seperated well now. another star will shut the other out. all chi need is a nice microwave guy like coby to make that huge leap and maybe a player like pat williams to wake up out his shell once he's back. i wouldnt let go of either one of them this year. green, derrick jones jr, provide alot of energy and hustle. why sit them when neither demands the ball and only want to win. they play defense and stay out the way unless there in transition or wide open. thats how everyone still gets there shots. ball kinda does the same thing but on a higher level. he actually needs to shoot more and is relied on to some degree.caruso is the same. those players to all want to win and play there role and when needed we see what they can do.

We’re talking about free agency 2023 or or star player wanting out before.

Although I’m currently happy with the three amigos plus ball, Caruso etc., #7 can’t come soon enough

They’re scary good and missing two important players in Wiseman and Klay

I honestly see them winning the title this season if Kyrie doesn’t come back to BKN

I see it's time for a new sig.

From the basketball's perspective, travel is a nice pause from being pounded to the floor.

Another relatively easy win against a good team. Didn’t really need Zach or DeMar to turn it on in that fourth quarter.

I love this squad. I’m really just enjoying the moment right now. Feels so good to enjoy watching Bulls games again. The West Coast trip will be tough, no doubt, but I see no reason to be scared of anyone.

8-3 what more to say, with two wins in a row against very solid teams, Nets and Mavs..

What a joy to watch great Bulls team after soo many years of average teams and players, years of bottom feeding!
This team is really well balanced as I mentioned a lot before, all that is missing is bigger defensive PF, BUT but Derrick Jones, Alize Johnson and others are really solid filling that role, hustle, defense, rebounding, blocks..

Ball, Caruso, Lavine, DeRozan I think is pretty much among top 4 combos in the league, not just East. We dont need another superstar to break down the chemistry.. Vooch is solid complement when he is on --- then DJJ, Green, White, Ayo, PWill, Bradley, Alize, Brown, more solid very usable players to round up the roster.

Return to Chicago Bulls
