I can't believe we used spend so much time overanalyzing 2 week stretches of good play from Lauri Markkanen and Coby white last year...

Lonzo has a chance to go down as one of the greatest defenders of all time. He's decision making and instincts are amazing.

Zach has a chance to become the BEST player in the league. Keep watching.

Great coaching. Great team win!

He's one of several examples of guys who BD has put in a position to succeed. Javonte is another. Heck, everyone is, except for possibly Vuc. Something about playing C in BD's scheme seems to put a lot of pressure on the big guys.

Only someone like Joakim could play C for Donovan it seems.

Rewatching Balls alley Oop from Ayo.

Ball directs that play all the way he first waves off Zach giving it to him, tells Zach to give it to Ayo and then tells Ayo to throw it up.

I think one reason is that the Bulls are a fast paced team and Vuc isn't fast. Plus he's the only big with size so he's asked to do a lot. Sure there's Bradley, but he doesn't play much (or produce much).

Just left the UC, couple things :

Image

This kid is going to be special. He's going to be atleast a championship level role-player in this league.

DJJ is awesome. He just affects the game so much and his dunks have the UC HYPED every time.

Troy Brown Jr. put in some good minutes. He passed up on a three he should of shot which led to a bad possession but other than that, he would really be a nice fixture if he'd just up his game.

Jokic is the man but he was kinda quiet. Statline was awesome but I dunno, he was kinda meh tonight. But if u swapped out Vooch with Jokic, my lord.

Zach started the game off slow but he kinda plays like he knows he can go crazy on the floor whenever he wants. Bulls never played like the game was in doubt, he led effortlessly.

If Vooch made more than half of the bunnies he misses, he'd average 25 a game easy.

I had a hell of a night, can't even imagine how much more fun it would have been with DeMar, Alex & Javonte.

The building was in great spirits, you can feel the good vibes in the place. It was a good night.

They play like, they shouldn't lose now. NO panic whatsoever even down 11. Thank my insider for the great seats lol

Dude I been flirting the idea of letting vuc handle the ball . Of course in safer non pressure situations but this was a guy who was in the skills challenge.

It’s not outside the realm of possibility and if you really expect him to be a #1a option he should be able to have his own time anchoring the offense .

Jokic , embiid do handle the ball at times. Ball handling can even get guys into a rhythm, get them more involved etc . This was literally a 25 ppg when we got him .

So ball handling seems like 1 way we can get him more like Joakim, if that’s what makes Donovan more comfortable .

Lol what's up with you trying to make Vuc the 1a option on the team? He doesn't need to be. I don't see why we want him handling the ball more.

Probably the most surprising aspect of the win was Vuc really did a surprisingly good job of harassing Joker and forcing him into a pretty bad scoring game. This was Joker's lowest scoring game of the season where he played at least 26 minutes. 6-17, 1-5 from 3 is close to a shutdown.

If you told me before the game the key to victory was going to be Vucevic's defense on the reigning MVP...

I like how Zach was making fun of his two handed underhand shovel pass after the play.

Multiple #1a options.
Why wouldnt we want that ?
That the competitive advantage that we have.
It’s like the Brooklyn Nets .
Or GS In their prime.
It’s raise the ceiling of the team and for vuc to reach his Ceiling as a player .

Seriously. Collectively for this board it's probably centuries of time wasted arguing about a team built on crappy draft picks and weird organizational drama. Now we have neither and we can actually talk about normal basketball stuff. It's glorious!

terrible take....Vuc defense and rebounding and timely shot making were big in a big win

Did you put Vuc and defense in the same sentence? Jokic having an off night has nothing to do with Vuc trash defense. Jokic just had an off night.

Nah, I was there. He definitely put some good defense on the big man.

Big props to him tonight , both teams undermanned but we without our best player.

Team came out strong at halftime too !
Thats a major coaching win!

No offense, but I'mma need this board to stop under-playing Zach Lavine and what he means to this team.

That dude is literally amazing. When he decided the game was over in the 3rd, it was done lol

Of course he is, I’m not underselling Zach at all .
Just generally Demar is probably considered our best player .

Am wearing zach jersey T right now. Been rolling with zach . Zach was the mvp tonight . In the night of the situational mvps he was #1.

Am glad guys put favor towards Zach so point well taken .
