No one is concerned if Pat is passive off the court.
He simply does not have fire in his belly, and you can't teach heart.

It is why Eddy Curry and Andrew Bynum and Derrick Coleman and Ben Simmons and a bunch of others never lived up to their potential. If we could transfer Noah's heart into these guys, it would have been done.

Tim Thomas should have been better. Lamar Odom should have been better. Some guys just didn't give a crap beyond a paycheck.

That's not PWill. He cares. He's obviously just hard on himself and deferring. There is a part of me that wants to send him down to Windy City for 2 weeks and make him dominate the ball. Too easy to defer when you have Vuc-DDR-Lavine-White

DDR is not on this team.
Lavine missed plenty of time last season.
Pat is still passive, AND he lacks the skill needed to do much more than cut and spot-up.

That excuse is old.

He is going to have a double double tonight.

These takes always remind me of people who claim global warming doesn't exist because it happens to be cold today.

No one gives two craps if he has a double double tonight against the Clippers without Kawhi and Z. He still has a career average of 10/4.
And your strange global warming take is actually an example of your giddiness over Pat's game tonight.

Strange...not at all. That's how people view it. What is happening right now is the only existence.

The strange part is that it was an extremely random analogy AND you had the situation reversed.

Plus, what the hell does "what is happening right now is the only existence" even mean? You know what, don't answer that.....

It means that when someone is not playing great its' not the definition of who they are. It's just a moment

So I guess it also means that when someone is playing "great" its not the definition of who they are. It's just a moment.

Can we trade him to one of those many teams we were bidding against for him?

Seems like a simplistic analogy. People who ignore climate change often state that it's because right now it's cold...

I honestly don't even think he'd dominate in the G League, I think he'd average about 15 and 6.

8 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 3-7 shooting

That's about as close as he's gonna get to a double-double, so I'll allow it

He needed to be benched a long time ago. Smith needs to be the starting 4 with Buzelis as the backup. Williams would be much better suited as 8th or 9th man with spot minutes. That's on Donovan for not recognizing this sooner.

If you want to go this direction with analogies, your take is like a cult predicting the sun will explode. It's never happened in the past. There's no logical reason to think it will happen in the future. Yet the cult persists.

I see your point, we just disagree on Pwill. I think he had a fine November and December and that's a rotational forward floor, so we just saw it lat week.

I am probably moreso reacting to the game threads that are very polarizing....which is fun.
