It's not over yet for the Bulls. West is still too stacked, even if the Rockets add Melo.

Easier road to the Finals if you play in the East. It surprises me why more players aren't desperately trying to go to the East.

Still tho they can form their own big 3,and maybe he likes texas instead..Idk what hes gona choose but Houston wouldn't be a bad destination for him either.I don't think harden,carmelo,dwight would work well on same team but maybe they feel like it will,so don't count out Houston.

Just the way things sound I guess on twitter, and clutchfans. Plus they can still re-sign Parsons.

What's keeping the Bulls from amnestying or trading Boozer? I mean, if the reports are true that Melo turned down $15 million a year from the Bulls, then why not just clear the extra cap space?

I honestly think Melo would go to the Bulls if they freed up more cap room. Bulls are the best team for Melo. I don't see a sign and trade happening unless the Bulls can free up more than the $15 million they have in space. Knicks can just tell Melo to sign with a team out west who has cap room like the Lakers.

Time. The amnesty period isn't until July 10-16th. Plus we want to see where Melo is thinking before that. Once we know how Melo feels, we can start to gain some leverage in regards to trades.

But you can see him passing up Rose, Noah, Taj, Butler, Thibs, and the prospect of playing in a conference with 1 maybe 2 other elite teams instead of 6-7?

and the irony that it's the same number Lin wore in GSW before he signed in NYC and switched to #17.

I love that Lin responded already - which means "Yes I'm paying attention".

That really makes the ownership in HOU look like a**e$$. It's like putting someone else name on your office while you are still working there and they bring the new guy in to look at the space in case he wants it.

Totally classless and would make me think twice of being part of an org that treats a player like that.

The correct ettiquite for number transfers is done between players if it matters that much to them. Just like how that kid gave Deng his jersey in Cleveland. Or when we signed Rip Hamilton and he paid CJ for the #.

And when the guy joins the team the first question from reporters is 'Are you going to ask _______ for your number?" and the correct reply from a player that you want representing your orginization is 'I'll wear whatever number they have. I just want to fit in with my new teammates and win games."

Details are everything in this process.
