He can play defense and shoots the 3 at the same clip as Korver. And he's a great passer. He's not terrible. Just not a long-term fit.

Indeed. I’m sure the Bulls are quite concerned that JR Smith will challenge Rose’s status as leader of the team. They’re also concerned that the United Center will suddenly turn into jello, the sun will suddenly crash into the earth, that Rose will actually sprout a unicorn horn, impale a referee and get kicked out of the league, along with a number of equally reasonable fears.
