If boston makes the ecf it will be just like last year, the cavs will coast a game or two because they have no respect for the celtics but in the series it will never really be close.

Washington would’ve crushed us. We wouldn’t have a rebounding advantage. Robin Lopez wouldn’t look like a behemoth against Gortat like he did against the Celtics frontline. Our point guards would’ve been smoked by John Wall. I think they would’ve been a much worse matchup than the Celtics.

Interesting to see Jaylen Brown out there last night for BOS.

played a lot but scored nada and did nothing but get in foul trouble-

but INVALUABLE experience

Stevens is clearly putting the kid out there to get him experience there's no way he thinks the kid is making a difference. But this is great for his development.

Wade had 26p, 11r, & 8a in game 5. He had some bad defensive laps but that was because he was not able to pick his spots, and had to literally be the best player for poor bulls roster. He played 35 minutes, was gassed, still and had the highest +/- percentage of anyone who played real minutes. :noway:

The Wizards are a bad rebounding team, like the Celtics. 24th in the league. Also, yes, the Wizards are a horrible matchup for the Bulls, on paper, but what we have learned through two playoff series already with the Wizards, is that they are just awful on the road. They were a sub .500 team on the road during the regular season, too. For whatever reason, they just don't show up when they play somewhere other than D.C.

Would the Bulls probably lose? Yeah, but I don't think it would be the cakewalk everybody may have thought originally before the playoffs started.

I'm surprised by the Wizards, too. Then again there is usually a reason why one team loses more games in the regular season that another. The Wiz just aren't defending enough. They scored plenty for the first four games (not yesterday). But they got torched in their three losses, giving up 123, 114 (in regular time), then 123 last night.

These playoffs seem really boring. And its not just because the Bulls lost, I usually still find the playoffs interesting regardless, but this year, mostly one sided games and pre-decided where its all going.

The top two teams have the super talent/depth and have been healthy. Meanwhile, the other teams are flawed to begin with and have had injuries to key players (Nurkic, Goebbert, Hill, Lowry) on top of it.

It has made the playoffs boring. The super teams concept will die if this continues. It always takes a year or two before it is obvious to everyone.

I hope I wasn't like that when Rose was healthy vs Miami lol. I really believed we should've won that series.

This team however...... bravo for making the playoffs
NBA Playoffs.... I can never wait!

That's nice, he showed great insight with his response to me. I didn't say anything disrespectful or outrageous so I don't see why he had to respond if he had nothing of substance to add.

Also, I can't get a second account banned if I've never been banned before..

In my opinion the two teams with the best chance of upsetting the Warriors and Cavs are 3-2 down. Still, no upsets are happening, I'm just saying.

Washington were 17th in rebounding percentage during the season, Boston were 27th.

While their defensive rebounding percentage was 24th on the season, you have to remember they played virtually all of the season without Ian Mahinmi, their backup C. He's back now and would help their rebounding.

I just don't know how Bulls fans can watch that Boston series and think they'd have a shot. Clearly the team had no counter. Things went well for them in Games 1 and 2 because their advantages played out as such. Once Boston adjusted, the Bulls had no response. They couldn't guard Horford in PNR. Thomas was unguardable. They got so many threes out of PNR.

Those problems don't go away against Washington. Wall is a PNR master and Gortat is one the best screeners in the league. Wizards in 5, I say.

Leonard is out for Game 6. Houston better capitalize.

Given that every higher seed has won in the playoffs this year, except for the #5 seed beating the #4 seed in the West, which means diddly in that they both won 51 games, yeah the Bulls would almost certainly have lost to the Wiz. But I think that is less due to matchups and more due to the fact that the better team pretty much always wins the playoffs, these past few years.

No, it's really not looking like that. The Bulls were a match-up nightmare for Boston. We would have beat them out not for Rondo's injury. There's really no debate to be had there..

I don't know, but I do know they were 2-0 with him and 0-4 without. When he got injured, I assumed the Bulls would lose the series.

How does Popavich do it? My god. The Spurs are annihilating the Rockets right now without Leonard. This doesn't happen with any other team, but SA. And look who they are doing it with! It's not like San Antonio's roster is filled with All Star caliber players.
