He could have gotten the Kidd information a ton of different ways. Just like the Fanta shirt guy seeing Theo at starbucks. That doesn't mean he has "sources". It just means he gets his ass kissed on the internet for a year.

I'm curious, assuming Melo and Pau do go to the Knicks. Do we give credit to other media members who put this scenario out there, or does Carl get credit for being "legit" while everyone else just got lucky throwing crap at the wall? I'm pretty sure Broussard's sauces have gotten more than one breaking story correct over the years.

He gets judged by the same standard as everyone else, story accuracy. Right now he's batting 1000. If he's just throwing stuff out there, he'll get tripped up. So far, he's broken a monster story and should be taken stone dead serious. In my mind, he's got more credibility than a Broussard.

I wish you had actual information to reassure us with, like he has proven he has. Look, i'm a bulls fan. I want Carmelo as much as you, but it seems like you are on your own personal pink cloud right now.

Lol, I've assumed from the beginning that he's staying with the Knicks. I just think it's hilarious how a random dude from the internet only has to be right about one thing, and then he's worth paying attention to. Think of all the horrible "reporters out there". Are they worth listening to? Because he's way below them.

Watch, if Melo goes back to the Knicks, you'll be one of the people hyping this dude up for being right about something again.

Derrick's is post MVP. Hey look, you guys wanna stress out over every non perfect relationship between player and management, coach and management, player and coach, be my guest.

No but I don't think the Krause rift or the Shaq rift with lobe compare. I do think that Reggie and BJJ have harmed derricks ability to be marketed though.

Well he does still have one of the best selling jerseys in the league. Guess we just disagree. Deng had a pretty rocky relationship with management too but was only moved after Derrick's second injury to avoid the tax. It's pro sports, it happens.

Will that team finish 29th or 30th in defense behind the Lakers?

If that is ny I will take my chances with the bulls squad. Lebron makes anyone a favorite surely we all understand that but if Rose is healthy and we have spacing and ughhhhhh Lance maybe I will absolutely give them a chance over that team. They are not polished or deep like the spurs. Actually I hate lances antics but he isn't intimidated either and he has seen an ECF.

Carl's back. Phil never wanted Kerr, he was trolling the league. He says the Knicks have got MElo in the bag and also some mysterious #16. But he can't say any more about it because "some hack gm" might ruin the whole thing.

Also, it appears he got lucky with the Kidd thing.

You are absolutely right, he deserves all the hype in the world if he's correct again. That would mean he has consistent, accurate, and actionable intelligence on the NBA scene in NYC. Which is more than I can say for basically anyone on this board. Frankly, I wish we had a Carl on our board to tell us what the hell is exactly happening with our front office.
