I know that the Heat have excelled at comebacks but it looks to me as if Brad's adjustments have them befuddled. If the Celts continue to play at this level, they will give the Western champ all that it can handle.

20 minutes later... :P

Miami has more bench options which I think gives them the halftime adjustment advantage. Boston's got nothing but liabilities after Wanamaker, their 6th man. I really think MIA is gonna win this series by just wearing the BOS starters out.

I'm taking full credit for the reverse jinx. Wait until to see what I do to the Lakers tomorrow.

OK, I really did think this one was over, but not quite so strongly that I didn't check the score. I turned the TV back on for the 4th. Lord, do I enjoy watching the Celts lose.

C'mon...he us a superstar in every sense. You are too enamored by 1 dimensional superstars like Harden Westbrook who can't make winning plays if their 1 dimension fails. The plays he made got the win for the Heat.

No I’m not. Harden made winning plays to get his team past OKC and he had a bad offensive game. Butler has some nice defensive plays down the stretch. But he’s in the perfect system where he doesn’t have to carry the offensive load like a true superstar. I will say this. Butler overall game is incredible though. One of my favorite players of all time. But he’s a tier below players like Kawhi, Harden, AD, LeBron, Durant. Butler is an Elite second option. Miami have a bunch of system players that play their role perfectly. Nothing wrong with that. They are on a hell of a run.

He isnt getting enough credit. Hes been the best player from both teams so far.

Jimmy honestly is playing like the 3rd best guy in this series....from his own team! lol

Miami just out works teams. They will grind you to submission, crazy fight in them.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?

Offensively. He doesn't give you much on defense, and that matters too. The Heat wouldn't have won the game if they hadn't stuffed Boston's offense in the second half.

You look at that Heat roster at the beginning of the year and hardly anyone would pick them to make the playoffs (maybe the last two spots) yet alone sniff the freaking Finals.

Butler - great player, but a locker room cancer who's gonna ruin the Heat culture
Dragic - not bad, but on a decline and probably shouldn't be starting anymore
Winslow - solid, but nothing to write home about
Olynyk - solid backup big
Adebayo - not much to write about after two underwhelming seasons
Herro - rookie
Nunn - undrafted, signed after G-League
Robinson - undrafted, signed after two-way contract

Everyone is praising Miami's cast.but most of them were unwanted and most teams have similar players. They are well coached and have a great player to lead them. Jimmy is being walled up near the basket and he is not forcing bad shots which many stars will do.

He's a rookie and is playing in an ECF. He is learning on the fly but honestly he shouldn't even be in this position. How many Conference Finals teams would have a rookie playing such a huge role at the guard position? It speaks volumes about the leadership and coaching but also the lack of talent on that team.

He just going to be inconsistent and its expected with a rookie. He also had a beautiful PnR play with Bam, where he did a CP3 dribble fake and lob to Bam for the and1. Spo will live with him because he's got the talent and the balls to make plays.

Miami forces you to play their game. They compliment each other so well and they fully buy in to what they have to do to win.

And that's saying a lot, because the Celtics are also a team that seems to play hard, all the time.

What should scare the Celtics is that they out shot the Heat in both fg% and 3 pt % tonight, and still lost. 20 turnovers to just 9 for Miami though was the difference. The Celtics like to pass the ball around a lot though, and that will result in some turnovers.

Good coach and a great player to lead them... what about the main boss there and the culture that exists there?

They have everything we have been missing for a while.

If... that's a big if. But I would love to see Butler with the title. At least one former Bulls for the years we were actually a good team (a rarity since Jordan) be successful would be very nice...

And... if they do win, it will look like what the Bulls did to the Lakers in 91 :D Although I doubt. The talent level of the Lakers is too big.
