The Minnesota Timberwolves have discussed Kevin Love trade scenarios with a number of teams, according to sources.

But the Wolves are unlikely to make a decision upon Love's future until they've hired a new head coach.

The Golden State Warriors, Chicago Bulls, Boston Celtics and Phoenix Suns have been among the teams previously mentioned as trade candidates for Love.

Wow, so Woj must not have anything at the moment. Falling back to "these teams were mentioned in rumors so I'll mention them again".

But for the Bulls all reports indicate they think they have a better shot at Melo.

So according to Jackie MacMullan via ESPN Boston, apparently the Bulls have made an offer for Love...but doesn't say exactly what the offer could of been.

However, the Minnesota Timberwolves are less than enamored with what the Celtics can offer them in a potential trade for Love. The Celtics could offer the No. 6 draft pick, the future selections from the Brooklyn Nets, the No. 17 pick and a combination of role players such as Jeff Green and Jared Sullinger.

The Timberwolves reportedly believe they have already fielded better trade offers, including from the Chicago Bulls

In the perfect world.

Bulls trade Carlos Boozer, #16, and #19 overall pick to the Wolves for Kevin Love & #13 overall pick.

Yes I know far fetched that's why I say in a perfect world for us that is :lol:

IDK, I could see them offering Taj along with Mirotic and a draft pick or two and then use the un-guaranteed contracts for filler.

That offer beats the Celtics offer, but without Taj I would think the Celtics offer is better. Or maybe the Wolves are looking favorably at Boozer large expiring and the Celtics can't offer that. They would probably rather have the cap space next off-season.

Also, this could indicate, the Bulls priority isn't necessarily just Melo. Maybe they could be trying for Both guys or which ever one they get get first.

It's a possibility, but what would the Wolves do with the cap space next year? People are complaining about Chicago not being a free agent destination. Imagine what Minnesota looks like for an NBA star...

It's a possibility, but what would the Wolves do with the cap space next year? People are complaining about Chicago not being a free agent destination. Imagine what Minnesota looks like for an NBA star...

It would still be better for them to not add additional salary. Whether they are able to spend that cap space on younger or better player's to rebuild is a different story.

If the Bulls have (rightfully) put forward a good package for Love, does that mean they're no longer confident they can get Melo? Sure, GarPax has to explore all of our options and would gladly take either of the two but this doesn't scream confidence in getting Melo.

If we could get Kevin Love this summer, I'd be ecstatic. Glad that a national reporter has it on decent authority (hopefully) that the Bulls have put together a better offer than Boston.

Wait what, some of ya'll think that the Bulls offer wouldn't include Taj if they believe the Bulls offer is better than the Celtics offer?

If this rumor is true, you can bet that Taj is on the table along with both our draft picks, as well as the Kings pick and likely Jimmy as well. I'd bet the deal includes both Boozer, Taj and 2 x first round picks from this year, as well as the Kings pick with us obtaining Love and one of their crappier contracts.
