I'll add that I wouldn't be surprised if AK looks at Indiana and thinks they prove his "9 players can win a championship". Sigh.

Hali is making the overrated talk look incredibly ridiculous.

Really impressed that Hali wasn't the one running the show at the end. Importance having another guy you can trust. And having the main creator be really good at catch and shoot.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Cant help and root for a team like Indy to win it. Play together, one unit, no ego, totally buy in to what their coach is preaching.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.
KC: You were asked that question at the news conference announcing Thibodeau's dismissal and you answered yes

Haliburton with the game winner!

Pacers are improving and peaking. Literally getting better each series. Confidence and belief growing.

They are playing like Carlisle is wanting and coaching.

Fun to watch.

Siakam has been consistent for the Pacers this playoffs. Just thought he should get a shout out too.

Late block, then next play sneaking in for that rebound and immediate put back. Guy plays winning basketball.

Sidenote, I'm extremely sick of Doris Burke calling things that professional basketball players do as ridiculous. They are pros, they can do these things for a living.

Watching him play made me wonder if the Raptors made the right decision with trading him and OG, plus letting FVV walk. I guess it was just time to move on.

To win you have to have two way players that are strong and cans body up and long who blocks shots, get deflections etc.

Strong
- Dort, Wallace, Caruso
- Nembhard, Nesmith

Long
- Chet, SGA, Jalen
- Hali, Siakam

Bulls
- Long Buz, Zo
- Strong Pat, Giddey

Probably the way Carlisle wanted the Mavs to play with Luka in Hali's role but couldn't.

Yeah, could’ve done a few things.

Waited a year too long to break it up….Bulls Canada style.

Or used Barnes strong rookie season and young guy shine + picks to potentially land a star to pair with them.

Holding on to them all til their value rotted on the vine can only be described as straight up Karnisovas.

We used to have that in 2022 with healthy Lonzo and Caruso.

Yep. Because Luka whines and slows the game down.

Mathurin is an awful fit for them. Processes the game way too slow.

Frankly it's easy for me to root for both teams, I just get to enjoy good hard played basketball without wishing bad things on either team.

Fun game tonight, Sunday should be a blast!

Awesome. Indy probably gets blown out in game 2 but now they have a chance.

I just had this feeling-Indy was hanging around, hanging around and OKC couldn't put them away.

I also think OKC blows them out in Game 2-but it's a great start
