This is why Jimmy Butler is no James Harden. Even on Harden's worst night, his production is amazing!

LeBron is always there, and I might concede Durant. Although he had 7-33 and 7-20 games in the first round last year, and followed that up with 6-15, 16 points in a first-game loss to Spurs in the next round. That would be about it for guys who always deliver in a playoff game, though.

LeBron 2011 Finals?

Guy conceded the #1 role to Wade, like just shrunk.

He had his moments in 2013 finals too.

Yeah just edited that myself, will put here.

Pop did a great job baffling him for half the 2013 Finals - simply by not guarding him! Not as bad as Harden, but 3 very depressed games for him (18, 17, 15 pts (7-16 | 7-17 | 7-21 ). But Miami just had too much firepower in the end.

They had game 6 in the bag, if Pop left TD for rebounding on the floor.

Alas, even the GOAT coach isn't perfect.

He's no Bill Belichick. Probably the only coach in history who Pop has to look up to.

Bill Belichick once went for it on a 4th down on his own 20 yard line... and he also has gotten caught cheating.

Yes, but football is also a significantly more difficult sport to win titles, and he has 5 of them.

Yes, cheating has gotten him couple of those titles.

Imo, BB is a great coach, but Pop ain't looking up to him.

Houston should trade James Harden to the Boston Celtics for Lonzo Ball.

Spurs should also consider sending out Leonard, because clearly he's not that important to the Spurs' success.

Over at ClutchFans, they are ripping Harden a new one.

They all agree with SAS statement that HOF's texted him saying "Harden quit"

I don't think Hinkie is poop. I just think what he did is ordinary and that the mystique that he was some sort of revolutionary genius is bogus.

Also, after reading his resignation letter I would have serious reservations about my team hiring him to lead my FO. It was borderline delusional.

But I'm not one of those "Hinkie is bad for basketball" guys.

They should be ripping him a new one. It was embarrassing how disinterested he was from the very beginning.

I meant now. Heat LeBron was something of a head case. Cleveland LeBron straps it on when the playoffs start and just goes.

After watching the Bulls play and FO the last couple of years, I'd take the process in a heartbeat.

He's not some revolutionary, teams have been tanking for a bit but he just did it masterfully. All the extra lotto picks. Just want in place to draft the generational talent.

I see that Hinkie unloaded MCW for a draft pick that was Top 5 protected in Year 1, Top 3 protected in Year 2, and unprotected in Year 3. That was quite some deal. It strikes me that today's GMs aren't so free and easy about handing out unprotected first round picks, and that it might be difficult for Hinkie to duplicate such trades in his next gig, but perhaps I am wrong.
