No late 1st round pick for me and questionable quality.. Bobby is proven warrior and solid player

He's a big who is a bad defensive player and a good not great offensive player. He doesn't fit well with Lauri.

I like Bobby and think he'll get even better, but he's gonna want to get paid next year and I'd rather roll the dice on whatever potential value we can get for him than pay him. To me, the Bulls gotta find 2 more great players before they start resigning good players.

Yoooo. I'd do this in a heartbeat....

Bill Simmons has me pumped for Luka

Dunn being worth 5 places in one of the strongest drafts in recent history lol

*
Picks 1-7 are basically a crapshoot this year - all players are on about the same tier (with Ayton being maybe a little above). This is believed by numerous mock drafts. No way am I giving up #7 and Dunn...

AA

I'd do that deal in a heartbeat if I was Sacremento. Dunn is the kind of player you need on the floor.

I don't get how anyone watching Rozier and Smart making a difference in the playoffs and not realizing this is what KD brings to the Bulls - would even dream of trading him.

I've seen little of Doncic - but I can tell you I'd rather have a gritty player like Marcus Smart leading my team than some euro kid who is gonna need a few years to learn the NBA. I try to respect the euro game but you have a 34yr old Rudy Fernandez who failed as an NBA talent as a STARTER on the championship team.

Dunn is right on the cusp of a breakout season. The only thing that is gonna stop him from being elite NBA talent is his reckless style of play and getting hurt. He will, but that is what makes him so good. He's everything I want in an NBA player at 6'4".

Can’t trade Lavine, he’s a free agent.

Not that Boston would do it, but #7, Portis and our 2020 1st (unprotected) for Jaylen Brown.

If you think he needs to be gone if Doncic is here, just let him go instead of having to take back salary you don’t want.

Does Portis/22/future 1st get you 12 and 13 from the Clips? Take on salary if need be.

I’m high on 2 players turning out to be the best 5 of this draft: Knox and Khyri Thomas. If you can get Bamba at 7, love the potential:

Dunn
Thomas
Knox
Lauri
Bamba

Felicio,22 to Washington for Mahinmi,15, 44

Draft Khyri Thomas and shed 3 years of Felicio for 2 years of Mahinmi. Make 2020 the turnaround/sign meaningful free agents year.

Washington is in a bad spot financially.

I was gonna say no way BOS does that, but wow Hayward is making $30M-$35M per for next 3 years. I could see Celts doing that and making us look like fools. Now technically, we'd need to add salary back like RoLo and Asik.

fillers can get added, it's more about the main parts Portis, #22 and Hayward. BOS has Tatum, Brown and Morris with Hayward making much Money coming off a big injury.

Brown is a good player, but that's too much to give up.

This is a joke right? Please tell me this is a joke post and you just forgot to do green font.

This is the single worst trade I've ever seen proposed in my 8 years here at realgm, so I hope for the love of god that you were kidding. If you were being serious, then you must be a Celtics fan.

I wouldn't trade #7 straight up for Brown if either Porter, Young or Bamba will be available.

Just trying to spark a little controversy...these are boring days.

That said, I really like Brown. I think he is already every bit as good as Butler (just to incite more commentary).

I look at Portis as a depreciating asset. If we can get value for him before next off-season, I would, because he'll never be more than a 6th man here, and we still need a 4th and a 5th man (after Dunn, Lavine and Lauri). If we landed Brown and are able to sign a good FA next offseason, I think our 2020 pick will be in the 20's.

Keep the comments coming...it's slow here in Bulls world.

I find this interesting because what do you do with Hayward if you are Boston? Play him at the 4? He isn't getting paid to come off the bench and Tatum is going to come off the bench next year...
