There is a serious lack of shelter in the Olympic park, like none. It's pissing it down so I stand in the doorway of a urine drenched toilet waiting to get in the GB game.

Fun.

Didn't see anyone mention it, but was curious why Mirotic not playing for Spain... Looked it up, apparently FIBA only allows 1 player naturalized after age of 16.. And they went with Ibaka since both were in that predicament.

It's been fun watching international ball grow. China's not threatening the top dogs yet but they're much better than 4 years ago (sadly losing Yao). Brazil finally looks organized considering their nice talent.

Bojan Bogdanovic was sent home by the Croatian national team for breaking the team's curfew policy.

Bogdanovic, who was taken with the 31st pick of the 2011 NBA draft and acquired by the Nets from Minnesota, arrived to camp overweight and out of shape.

Bogdanovic, 23, is under contract with Fenerbahce through July.

Was expecting a quick blowout for the Russians. Wonder how much longer this will still be close.

Give the ball to Deng and get out of the way. There is no reason he shouldn't touch it at least once every possession.

Russia's ball pressure isn't even that aggressive and we are still folding like chumps.

Doesn't help we are playing with 3 power forwards st a time either. Clark can't guard sf's.

Joel Freeland - flashes of brilliance, flashes of dumbness

Rob Archibald yelled at him: "concentrate!"
