That's what I've been saying.

It does make sense. Even if it's a 15% chance, I can deal with that!

Kris Bryant will go down as the greatest Chicago athlete after MJ

Meh. Just because Melo can't make up his mind between LA and NYC doesn't mean Chicago is in it.

Because you know we're signing both.

There is no choice just between NY and LA. Both are offering him money as the main draw, so its obvious you go to the most money. He would have been signed with NY if that was the case.

If the S&T is going to happen, this is exactly how it has to play out.

Aaron Gray agrees to a multi year deal with Pistons, source said. Terms undisclosed.
The Big Fish are starting to sign

I'll tell you what ... I would have definitely preferred Gray over Nazr.

Yeah, me too.

hey, in my mind, we've still got a 33.3% chance at this seeing it's apparently down to a 3 team race...

however, i never said my mind was a place for completely rational or cohesive thought...

Why not? LA has Hollywood for his wife and a better chance to win now. And better weather. NYC is his home and offers more money. That's a big, not necessarily easy decision.

Kirk was our starter and helped us to the 4 seed. He's a steal on a vet min deal.

That's what I've been saying.

If it was just one max offer I would be optimistic, but the most likely scenario is Melo is just mulling over the max deals. Really the lack of information means nothing, I don't think it is a good or bad.

Winning is also bringing in a boatload of money, playing in the finals too, not all money is coming from the players contract.
