That's the guy I wanted the year of the McDermott draft. I really thought he and Butler would make an incredible pairing.

Mad props to Warren - kid works his ass off and has gotten a lot better every year.

Phoenix has won all six bubble games with their win today. They play the 76ers next, whom are already without Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. Now anyone is capable of laying an egg, particularly a Suns team that hasn't been that good historically, but that feels like a game they should win.

That leaves them with a finale against Dallas that may already be locked into their playoff position depending what both they and Utah do in their next games. Dallas rested all their stars today (though still beat the Jazz despite that) and likely would do so again if the game has no meaning.

It's not crazy at all to think at this point that Phoenix might win out.

What is sad about that is that they might still not make the playoffs if they win out, seems kind of lousy that a team invited to the bubble might miss the play in game even if they win out. If that's the case, they shouldn't have been invited or you should have had different rules.

I'm kind of pulling for Phoenix now. I would love to see Suns / Blazers in the play-in tournament.

Doesn't make Jimmy any less a Chicago favorite.

Some people are saying Jimmy still has a bum wrist from his stint at 76ers. He was supposed to get surgery on it but didn't. It's impressive that Jimmy is still a huge positive on offense even with a broken jumper. He's come a long way since 2013-14. It's also a pity that his jumper is broken. With a career average jumper, he would solidly be having the best season of his career and would jump into true superstar status

Jimmy's offensive game made the huge jump after the summer he spent watching MJ's and Kobe's post moves and learning how to finish through contact.

I agree that Jimmy is probably limited by injuries. His game is not about avoiding contact. But mad props to the kid...he's a winner.

He finished 6-6 from the field, 15 pts., 4 Rebs in 24 min. Denver played it's bench most of the second half, and still almost beat LAL, who played their starters the whole game. Bol Bol had some nice moments- I was really impressed with how much he looks like a real basketball player, and not just a super tall guy. He can handle the ball, he's got some post moves, he plays defense, he rebounds, and his shot looks pretty sweet.

Bol always got one sweet pass per game too, I've been noticing

Props to Denver, Plumlee, Jokic, Porter, Bol etc. all of them can pass really well.

I hope denver is a template for what we would build - versatile, big, super skilled.

I hope it's Portland and Phoenix for the play in game(s). I think those are the two most exciting teams left on the bubble.

And they had Nurkic as well, but had drop him. Just an embarassment of riches in big men.

You would think AK could turn Wendell into that kind of passing bigman as well. He does have the skill set and he showed it alot in his rookie year. But that part of his game was completely cancelled in year 2.

Seems like a stretch to think the EVP is going to do anything with player development unless its to replace the coaches he feels are bad with player development.

Well really it was Marc Eversley that was really in shock at how little staff we had in terms of player dev. So to me if they are allowed to get guys in and share their vision, things like that can happen.

I just think Wendell does have skill sets that arent utilized. If Mason Plumlee can grow and turn into a passing big, so could Wendell.

The pressure is probably building but it wont really get heated till Phily is finished.
