They are shooting well yes, but we are no where near their players. smh.

Like I said before, this is far more than not having AC out there.

Our defense isn’t good but you’ll never win playing win teams are shooting like this. It’s simply unstoppable.

He does not compete sometimes. Kenard is not his physical superior. He just gave a crap effort.

We might as well have all 5 of our players cherry pick instead of getting back on D.

9-15 from 3 for Jr and Wells.

That’s the game.

They're wide open though.

I knew it'd be really bad but I didn't expect 2nd worst in the league and a full 2 points worse than the third worst team and everyone else. Ouch. Giddey + Vuc is pretty dreadful - though boy do they look nice together on offense!

I’m not overstating it when I say the thing about your post that surprised me is that we are not the worst. It’s personnel. I absolutely expected it.

We have three legitimate defenders who play. Three. Our starting five has 1. We have two rim protectors on the entire roster, and one of them is Matas.

We are what the Hawks used to be except without Capella.

With defense like this there is absolutely no shot we're a playoff team. Play-in sure, but playoffs hell no.

Liddell is intriguing. Moreso than our usual two-way contracts, anyway.

Buz has such immense 2 way potential it is tantalizing. He is already so good at altering shots. 3 point shot looking more and more confident. Midrange shot tonight was money as well, hadn't seen that before.

Once they trade Vuc, I expect we’ll be seeing a lot more of him.

Billy has to disrupt the shot making.

Throw a zone at them. Half court or full court press. You can’t just stand there and let them bomb away on us when we do t have legs to contest.

He needed to go to Duarte and Carter for energy much earlier.

Yep.

His biggest issue right now is needing to box out and rebound. He’s caught watching a lot and giving up boards he should be getting.

Is it the closer to a triple double Giddey gets the less he plays ?

We have known since the Skiles era. Even if you are not great at offense if you play hard on defense you stand a chance. It is how the Grizz have been operating for the last 20 years.

It is especially true in the 3 point era. Just play tough nosed defense and hope you can hit the open man for 3. It makes up for a lot.

In his defense that is the entire team. I don't think anyone on the coaching staff has told the guys to jump for a rebound. They all stand around waiting for it to come to them.

Yeah you may be right. That was pitiful. The team looked tired though.

Coby was bad.

Zach looked gassed.Thought he played a pretty weak game until his q3 surge.

Vuc started out scoring well but was pretty ineffective overall.

Buz looked really good, but dropped 2 passes at a critical point that should have been easy buckets. They weren't perfect passes but they should have been converted. But overall very promising.
