I have never officially placed a sports bet in my life but I’m giving it some serious thought.

It's not easy money if Matas or Giddey has a long-term injury. But yes, I think the odds are pretty good of getting 33+ wins otherwise.

I agree. I said the same thing last season. But I didn't do it then. I likely won't do it now.

I laid the grand. I think it was a wise bet because nationally, nobody knows a thing about this team and most of what they have to say is hyperbole, kind of like the national discourse on the Bears.

Unlike everyone else in the world, I don't believe the Bull's record after the break was the result of the entire world tanking. I remember that the 21-22 Bulls team had the best record in the East before the all star game then went 8-15. They weren't trying to tank. The Lakers weren't trying to tank.

I think moving on from Zach changed the attitude and aggression of the team for the better. And the Bulls not having a direction or "the worst young core" is a dumb trope. Their rotation, other than Vuc, is under 25. Their starting lineup is Giddey 23, Jones 25, Okoro 24, Buzelis 20 and Vuc. There are college teams that are older, like the 23-24 elite 8 Illini team.

They may have a rough start because Coby and Collins are out, but I think this team will be entertaining.

Bulls win! Only 31 more wins for those who bet the over.
