Nets will be making a trade w Dinwiddie going down.

NO would trade him for the reason you just said yourself, he's barely playing.
Also, Lauri doesn't have that much trade value right now. If someone was willing to give up real assets for a shooting big, John Collins is a better player and is also available.

Zach to NO for

Lonzo, Hart, and Alexander-Walker or Lonzo, Hayes, and maybe one of their mediocre future firsts

or Zach and Otto to Denver for Harris, Barton, Morris(can he be traded?) and maybe one of Bol/Hampton/Nnaji if we can get a little greedy

Zach is a better player on a good contract, which makes him perfect for a contending team that might be willing to deal intriguing assets for him. He is gonna demand a max or near max salary in two years, and I really don't think we should be the team to pay him that.
Coby right now is the worse player of the two, but his 2nd year status and rookie scale contract makes him ideal for a rebuilding team, like us. By no means should he be untouchable, but I think Zach might be a better trade candidate for the reasons stated above.

What assets are going to make us a better team without Zach? We have enough youth, we don't need picks. We should be using our picks and $$ to get vets. Get this team some leadership. Maybe trade Coby and a pick for a vet starting point guard. I know it's risky but we need a starting PG bad.

Maybe Houston will go into tank mode and dump Wall at the deadline. If he stays healthy til then, he might be a good guy to go after.

I would trade for Wall to run with Zach but wouldn't trade Zach for him.

I am still behind trading Lauri, Otto and Felicio for Blake and Rose. This is my #1 option I would like to see happen.

We need a point guard/lead ballhandler in the worst of ways. James Harden is available. Is Otto/Thaddeus and as many picks as we can send a reasonable offer? How many young guys have to be included on top of that? I don't know what anyone else has on the table - maybe it doesn't make sense, but I just want to watch competitive basketball again.

Everybody seems to only be able to see the HUGE deal that the other team has to be enough of a sucker to take 3-4 Bulls players back. Stop dreaming, other GMs don't want to get fired. Porter for Lowery, what are you on?

The injury bug has already hit GSW with Chriss being out for the year and BKN with Dinwiddie. The Bulls have to be like vultures at this point, they should have a file for every other team and who that team might be interested in off the Bulls roster for any player that goes down with injury. And have a trade to offer them as soon as that guy gets hurt. You can't wait to see the highlights on ESPN and hear somebody on BOS or PORT got injured and is out long term to start thinking if there's a deal to be had. Have a starting point for one already sketched out and ready to start talking about.

Your D-Rose fandom isn’t making you think clearly. What’s the benefit of adding these two players on the roster? Do they make the Bulls a contender? I’d rather gamble on a 23 year old.

Derrick Rose is a solid player who will probably finish his career in Chicago once his contract in Detroit expires. I’d rather pay Lauri 20 million a year than pay 37 million a year to a 32 year old (often injured) Blake Griffin. Detroit would need to add a 1st for us to take on all that money.

Yes, we have youth. It's doesn't seem to be good youth, though. I mean, they're fine. Not one star. And an oddly fitting bunch as well.
More picks are more chances to hit on a star.

Dude nobody makes us a contender. We can't compete with the Nets and Lakers of the leagues. But, I bet we make the playoffs with that trade and it would be a better product than what we have now.

Put out a lineup of Rose > Coby > Lavine > Blake > Wendell and we might do OK.
