I just cant see a Boozer/LMA frontcourt finishing a game as a good thing. Maybe Taj/LMA....but that still doesnt address rebounding which is what sets off Derrick before the opposing defense can set.

I would add Deng as the third guy who is a two player who will finish games, but definitely in situations where you need the best D or need a rebound, LMA may be in there but he's probably not the best option in reality.

If you aremtalking through the entire league, the closest C to Noah in terms of impact who is also better than Noah is Marc Gasol.

Gasol is substantially better than Noah.

Better scorer same defender same rebounder same passer.

How does that make him substantially better? Better, yes, but nothing you stated indicates he's substantially better. Or is Marc Gasol a go-to guy now? Also, op did state he's better.

Lol, Gasol is 10000000 times more go to than Noah.

Gasol is more of a second option than Noah could ever dream to be.

What? You seem to be very unfamiliar with LaMarcus Aldridge. Save for foul trouble, there are not many scenarios where he is not finishing a game. He is not Boozer, who is a defensive liability.

The Bulls need to be able to score the ball in the low post, something Noah is very pitiful at. It doesn't put any pressure on the Heat and they can trot out their small ball lineup that is a nightmare to guard.

These rumors have to be frustrating for Thibs considering how we lost Asik. I'm sure he'd probably be on board with a Noah/Aldridge swap if we had Asik, especially since Omer was the guy getting crunch time minutes vs. the Heat in 2011.

Noah is the second most valuable player and he is also who we finish games with. Think about who is going to finish games regardless of situation:

Rose
Situational

Only Rose and Noah are locks. With LMA, I doubt thats a lock.

I feel some don't feel Aldridge is a lock because they most likely don't watch many of his games. Aldridge is really good and one of the few starting big men who's actually pretty solid defensively while being a good offensive threat. He could be just as important to our team or any team.

Admittedly, I havent followed Aldridge as closely as say a Hibbert, Gasol or even a Nene. So, to a degree, I am speaking from a place where my knowledge of LMA's games comes from the few times a year we play them.

But, I dont see how the below is winning you a championship:

As it concerns next year, I agree. But that doesn't mean a team with Aldridge on it would be incapable of winning after.
