Looked like Foles locked into a target at the snap of the ball a few times, even when he had time to survey the field. Specifically remember a couple in the red zone; a stupid 2 yard out to Ryan Nall and then one incomplete over the middle to Montgomery. I know there were others but those infuriated me the most at the time.

Even with a patchwork O-line and mediocre QB, better play calling would improve the offense. But Nagy's too hard headed to change things. Prior to Bears game I watched Cinn with four backup O-linemen and a backup RB handle the Tenn D-line with no problem. One of the O-linemen they had just claimed off waivers earlier in the week. Cinn didn't run any gimmicky crap plays.

Nagy is supposed to be an offensive coach, his offense can’t consistently score points. Pace can’t build a roster...they both need to go.

Matt Nagy is what Mel Tucker used to be for our defense.
After the next three games they ll be 5-6
The problem is that the Bears are already playing in an empty stadium I cant see them firing both Pace and Nagy before Jan 22 though they should.

Matt Ballard should ve been their choice for GM
Remember remember the 1st of April.......

Mentions OG Carpenter and an OC Mack from the Falcons. Both would be very good additions to the line.

I think a really good offseason would be;

Hiring Jim Caldwell as HC and bringing back Vic Fangio for DC
Cutting or trading Grham, Leno, and Massie
Trading Foles to either the Eagles or Colts for 6th rounder
Signing Baktiarhi, Osemele, Gurly, and Ryan Fitzpatrick
Drafting;
RD 1: Walker Little, OT
RD 2: Kyle Trask, QB
RD 3: Javon Holland, S
RD 4: Taderlle Slaton, DE/NT
RD 5: Pass Rusher
RD 6: ILB
RD7: OL

All that plus getting Goldman, Daniels, Whitehair, and Cohen back

I like Trask a lot. He’s a gamer. He won’t last till 2nd. I could see Bears taking him in 1st.

With 3 wild cards, that seems like a tough road:
Cardinals 5-2
Saints 5-2
Rams 5-3
Bears 5-3

Doesn't look so great right now unless they go to the potential 4 WC team system they are talking about today. Lost the tiebreaker to 2 of the teams ahead of us.

Pace does not seem interested in upgrading the OL, though.

I don't think many teams will spend $$$ to upgrade. Most of them depend on revenue from fans in the seats to operate and they are getting squat now. I think we'll see teams cut expensive players to save $$$ and there will probably be some interesting options out there.

I still want RB

We should spend, we can be in the mix with that defense if it holds up. NFC East is garbage and the Niners are done.
We could get a home playoff game in the first round and we have BDN.

Poor 49'ers- on top of all their other injuries, now they've lost Garrapollo and George Kittle for the year.

I think Minsew was benched. Could probably be had for a 6th or 7th

Injured thumb-
LOL Foles would love that! This freakin guy - again????

but I'd give up a pretty nice pick for G Mishew II
He's been playing on some trash teams in JAX but his career TD/INT ratio is 34/11 over 21 games.
JAX crazy to trade him, fans love him.

Savior Sam Darnold is also rumored to be on the Block.
I'd give up a very high pick for him too, even if he is from USC.

Trubisky for Darnold straight up? I'm IN
I'll even give them something

2 hrs left, I don't think were doing squat........

I much rather keep drafting guys over trading for Jaguars' trash. Bears already have one former Jaguar QB that they bench, why would the Bears want a second? I know the Bears desperate but continuing to dumpster dive for the most important position on the team is no bueno.

and we didn't do squat.
not even some RB insurance in case Montgomery goes down.

Most of the NFL podcasts I listen to are saying we should go back to Trubisky.

I'm still trying to believe in BDN, we need Playoff Foles.

That ONE 1st round bye for each conference is still in play for us.
That means you play one less game than anyone else to win the SB.

You know KC and PIT want it.
Brady definately wants it.
Wilson and Seattle holding the inside track to it currently....

It's a HUGE advantage this year.
I'd put my $$$ on the AFC team that gets it to win it.

We might be the worst 5-3 team ever.

I dont know about ever. There have been other bad 5-3 teams I am sure but we got a favorable schedule in the beginning and caught some nice breaks. Overall we overacheived record wise. I had us as a 7-9 team in the beginning, with the breaks we got we will probably be 8-8 or 9-7 and no playoffs which is worse.
