Bulls get Brogdon/Sabonis or Brogdon/Turner

Pacers get 2021 1st rounder, Lauri (or the 1st he might net in a separate trade), Coby, Otto

Opens up tons of cap space for Pacers and they get 2 1st rounders and Coby White.
Yeah those 2 are exactly what the bulls need right now. Getting them though is easier said than done.

I'd throw the whole farm (minus Zach and PW) for Sabonis and Brogdon including our first round picks AND taking on a bad contract (tho I don't think the Pacers have any bad contract).

Brogdon / Zach / PW / Thad / Sabonis

Agreed, that would be ideal. WCJ, Lauri, Coby and pick(s) should be able to get a good hall for a team looking to blow it up / youth movement

not hitting on three consecutive lotto picks is a pretty big bummer in situations like this. idk how you would get sabonis without giving up williams, let alone sabonis and brogdon

Donovan traded Sabonis (Prestie actually but Billy was hc) and Sabonis was bad and misfit in Okc.

You sell them on age (Coby and WCJ are only 21), potential, and use picks and pick swaps as sweeteners. The other team does need to be in the right situation though, like Indiana who's currently worse than the Bulls in the Standings and don't have any young prospects.

But Karnisovas and Sabonis are both from Lithuania and Ak played with Arvydas in national team for decade, so there is prior connection.

I'd say everyone but Zach and Williams is available if I'm the Bulls. IF the Pacers are really shopping, I'd Offer Otto, Lauri, Wendell, White and a first for those two and not blink an eye

sabonis was just an all star and he's 24! brogdon is basically one tier below all star level!

imagine if someone offered us a package equivalent to otto/lauri/wendell/coby and a first for zach + thad. we'd think it was a joke

Sabonis and Brogdon are bargain starters with long deals. IND might answer the phone if you offer Zach, Pat and a FRP. Laughing off any WCJ/Lauri/Coby offers. I also think if you get these guys, while it’d be a clear upgrade over what we’ve got, a lot of problems would remain. Those guys’ values also probably drop, because IMO Pacers have a very balanced depth-chart.

IMO they're gonna ship Turner out this Thursday, if the offer is good. Otherwise they have a pretty good thing going; tons of bargain starters in their young primes. They need LeVert and Warren to have healthy recoveries.

I would depend on what the Pacers are thinking but, I'm sure it would require multiple picks which I'm cool with if the result is both players

Otto/Coby for Brogdon/Lamb works $-wise. I'd be willing to our unprotected #1 for 2021 and a 2022 pick swap, plus a couple 2nds for good measure.

I'd actually throw the sink at Sabonis, but try to keep Lauri and Zach, because since they have Turner, they may be more willing to listen. Sabonis is like a younger, taller Thad in how productive he is. And, he's locked up long-term. He'd be in the same conversation as Jokic if he could shoot reliably outside of 10 feet--well, there's a reason he's available.

He needs others to be able to space and cut so I'd keep Lauri around as a 3rd option.

Sabonis for any dead salary + two 1st + pick Coby/WCJ + a vet if you want one. Sabonis would wreck it here about as much as he has with the Pacers, given how much coach D loves his C's in the pocket.

The upgrade from our C rotation to Sabonis is much bigger than the upgrade from Sato to Brogdon, IMO. Sato is a very decent low usage starter. Our C's are so much of a hot garbage brigade that we've resorted to starting old man Thad at C.

Sabonis is overrated IMO. Very solid offensively but a liability on defense. If anything we should be focusing on Turner.

Simple trade that will push to ECF.
Zach, Porter for Brogdon, Sabonis.

Brogdon/White/PAW/Sabonis/Lauri
Sato/Temple/Val/Thad/Carter

solves lavine's ufa problem, white's pg issues, as well as cap issue by replacing lavine with a 4 yr locked up cheap contract.
Lavine could always return holding hands with Butler as UFA but i guess they never wanted to remain.

Trade one Thad Young for Celtics frp 21 and Theiss.
Second trade W.Carter, C.White, T. Satoransky, C.Hutchinson, Felicio, Bulls frp 21, Celtics frp 21, Bulls frp 23 right to swap for Brogdon and Sabonis.
Third trade Porter, Gafford,Kornet and two second round picks for Drummond and Delladova.
This is not gonna happened but team would look like
Brogdon Lavine Williams Markkanen Sabonis.
Delladova Valentine Shittu Theiss Drummond.
Dotson Arcidiacono Mokoka.

Pipe dream. Zach isn’t going anywhere unless he demands it. Lauri is probably gone though. Nice bait.
