The bulls has the better assets and yet they would not be able pull a deal like that.

You're right.

That should be us.

exactly my point. our team, with no "robin", surpassed 60 wins in consecutive years. the batman/robin combination of roy/aldridge was not nearly as good

You are building a straw man.

how so? there are countless examples of batman and robin combos that aren't that great. brooklyn, knicks, etc. once again, if you're gonna try to replicate the miami model, you've gotta do it with legit superstars like lebron and wade. derrick rose is not as good as lebron. you've gotta find someone BETTER than wade to make up the difference. good luck with that

Fa real. No one wants KG and PP, when we're discussing LMA.

With Granger returning and this possible Nets/Boston deal, the east is getting tougher @ the top. Who's gonna be their coach though? Lionel?!? :o

edit...oh I forgot, Kidd...

Is that supposed to be a counter-argument to acquiring LMA?

LMA paired with Rose, Noah, and Thibs is ideal.

What are we giving up in this deal that's so crippling?

--Deng is replaceable with Butler (and he likely won't be re-signed in '14)
--The Charlotte pick MIGHT turn into a very good player in 3-5+ years
--Taj is a backup, and we have Mirotic coming over

What am I missing here?
Scottie Pippen's response to whom he would pick for his running mate, Michael or LeBron: "That's a dumbass question. I've never done anything with LeBron. I wouldn't take LeBron to the movies."

I'm so glad to not be a Nets fan and be disappointed year after year with high salary players.

wth if Brooklyn somehow nets KG and PP...

Williams
Johnson
Pierce
Garnett
Lopez

Is this some kind of sick joke? Who are they sending to Brooklyn? Certainly they dont want Joe Johnson, and The Nets are not trading Dwill or Brook.

I know this is kind of unrealistic given salary....I dont see how Brooklyn can make a move for both of them

Brooklyn: we're the most capped out team in the league, so let's get more capped out (and much older)?

Another Aldridge vs. Bulls video

This isn't some standstill jumpshooter. If you closeout, he can take you to the basket with a full head of steam and finish. He can post you up. He can face you up. He can hit turnaround jumpers. He can get to the line. He's an underrated passer.

Nuff said. If we have to trade Noah for him, so be it. Get er done GarPax.
