Not at all like Shabaxz. Muhammad played a full season in college while Porter didn't get the chance to and when he came back he wasn't 100% yet. I could see Porter being a star.

The concerning thing about Porter is that he’s developed a hitch on his shot. What’s this about? We don’t want Fultz 2.0

Trae Young was doing defensive slides at his pro day, supposedly a 1st at this type of setting.

Are we making things up now? Porter Jr doesn't have a hitch on his shot. He had just came back from back surgery and he wasn't at 100%.

On ESPN's draft show last night, Seth Greenberg suggested that Porter now has a hitch in his shot post surgery (not clear what this conclusion is based on).

This is totally opposite of what Chicago has done since Gar was named GM.

I am surprised by this. Doug Collins influence?

John Paxson is running the show now. Gar might be the GM but Paxson is making the decisions.

I call this a smokescreen because Porter is obviously their guy.

Mo Bamba is no smokescreen. If you can land him, you get him.

MPJ or Bamba, Pax sees it the same way I do

Unless Porter is a smokescreen. You never really know with this team. They seem to catch us off guard every draft.

They have always seemed to play the misdirection game quite well imo.

I don't really value #22 at all so I guess that's why I'm meh. Will be lucky if we get a contributor there.

You're far from guaranteed to get a contributor at 22, but it's certainly not so unlikely you shouldn't give it any value.

In the last 10 years, the Bulls have had a first round pick at 22 or later 4 times. Those picks turned into Bobby Portis, Marquis Teague, Jimmy Butler, and Taj Gibson. That's a hell of a hit rate!

And now people talk about Porter like disposable trash. So what's the point drafting players that develop into very solid contributors if you want to dump them as soon as their rookie contract ends?

Bamba is no smokescreen. Paxson really likes his game from what I know. He's one of the players the Bulls like.

There's really no way Bamba falls to #7 though, right? I don't see a scenario where we land him, unless we actually move up a couple spots.

I think I might be settled for now like this:

1. Doncic
2. Ayton
3. JJJ
4. Bamba
5. Carter
6. Miles Bridges
7. Bagley

These are the 7 best players in the draft in this order IMO, so I'll be happy to get any of them.

So your arguement is that the Bulls as an organization shouldn't value assets that can net good players, because some people don't appreciate Bobby?

Right there. That's why you're on the phone right now, setting the Faried deal up with Denver, for 14.

That dribble of Zhaire's is kind of tight, I guess, but I don't think in game situation his dribble is shifty or functional. Yet, at least.

I think the FO should just draft who ever they think is the best player regardless of position. So even if lets say Bagley would drop, he should be the pick. Bulls need top tier talent right now, and if they need to they can always make trades down the line to fill out holes.

Agreed, you always pick the player you feel is the best player available, then consider fit later.
Why so serious?
