If the Bulls want to make the playoffs, I would make a trade for Jrue and trade #7, Felicio, Hutch, Dunn.
As much as I hate trading picks, this draft is a crapshoot I wouldnt want to touch and rather get a proven commodity.
Lamelo will be a future superstar Bull. Book it. Lavar for president!

What are you offering?

I have no clue lol

That's why I'm asking. Idk what is his status with you guys, is he considered a future star in the making or a nice player but not a star??

Would Robert Williams and all 3 Celtics firsts in this draft be anywhere close? Rozier S&T?

He's already a nice player so I think the uncertainty is is he a guy who will make like one all star game and be a good not great player his career or will he be a regular all star caliber player? He's the highest upside player on the Bulls IMO.

The Bulls need a difference make so your offer of a bunch of mid to late picks probably wouldn't tempt them. Better just hold on to Lauri and hope he keeps developing.

I think most of us view Lauri as a future all-stars and possible all-NBA player. For us to trade him, we would have to get something back that has that same ceiling. Neither of your proposed trades are that. For a Celtics trade, I think it something more along the lines of a Brown/Lauri swap is probably the most comparable thing I can think of. Not sure I'd do it, but I think that is the only thing we'd consider.

A package of Dybala and Rugani might do it. Seriously, what team would you want him going to?

That's three questions, hombre ;)

To answer them, in the order they are in:

1. No.
2. Yes.
3. Yes.

The FO might move Markkanen for a proven star, or a package that contains a highly potential future all star.
From the basketball's perspective, travel is a nice pause from being pounded to the floor.

I wonder if there is a 3 way deal to help NO.

NO in: 8, Valentine out: 4, Hill, Moore

ATL in: 4, Dunn, Blakeney out: 8, 17

CHI in: 17, Hill, Moore out: Dunn, Valentine, Blakeney

I would most definitely not trade Lauri for Jaylen Brown. Probably not Tatum either.

I'd think about Lauri for Tatum but not for Jaylen Brown.

Maybe an FA thread would be nice? I dunno.

If we are so down on Dunn, maybe a Dunn for Lonzo Ball trade straight up. NO gains a guy with more experience; Dunn gets a change of scenery. They get rid of the Ball family. We get the headache, but upgrade in playmaking over Dunn.

I think our chance for getting rid of Dunn will come in conjunction with taking on another (useful) player who has a higher 1 year salary from a team that wants to shed salary to chase a big name FA. For example, depending on who we draft, a Dunn/Dinwiddie deal could make sense for both teams.

edit: It is possible we could use Dunn to package with #38 to move to late 20's or early 30's if there's someone we like.
