Randle has been ballin, I wonder if the Knicks want the freedom to move on to Toppin.
Otto/Kornet/Mokoka for Randle/Noel/Quickley. Otto would be a good pairing with Barrett/Toppin.

So funny, I literally came in to post about Randle. He's a guy who has been productive for the last few years but has a poor reputation. I think he'd be a fantastic buy-low player, who could become a big building block in the same way that Zach Randolph was for the Grizzlies.

Can Thad play the 5? Bucks need a stretch 5 that is more mobile than Brook and can defend other positions. Do you think Thad could be the primary rim protector? Keep in mind that Giannis is there to help block shots and grab rebounds.
And would Thad even be available in trade? I realize our two teams are rivals but we are at different stages of development, with the Bulls being in a rebuilding/retooling stage.

Thad is mobile and can defend other positions, but I hesitate to call him a C or 3pt shooter. How about Lauri?

He's 6'8-6'9, pretty strong, and can rebound well. Do you think he could do the same thing that Theiss does for Boston?
As for Markkannen, we would love to have him and he would be a really good fit, but he would probably be cost a lot more than Thad, no? What would you be looking for.

De'Aaron Fox's father calling for Kings to trade Bagley. What would you give up for Bagley? For people who've seen him in Sacramento recently, what's going on there? Has it just been the injuries or why hasn't he been the player we thought he'd be?

I would trade Wendell for him pretty easily.

I don’t think we are good trading partners with the Bucks, even throwing out being divisional rivals. What assets does MIL have left after the Holiday trade?

Sam Merrill!
Honestly though, I don't see how we ever match salaries with the Bucks for a Thad Young trade. Moot point.

Bagley really is a talented modern big , Kings keep adding bigs instead of giving him more mins. Injuries set him back but I still think he can be a 20 and 10 guy

Yeah. Do something with Carter/Young and Bagley/Whiteside. Sacramento might need more than though to give up on Bagley.

Great athleticism, he's basically what you would want in a modern NBA 4, he's quick enough to stay with smaller players on the perimeter and has enough size to play the 5. Plus he's a good rebounder and okay post scorer. Still a very flawed player right now though.

Marvin Bagley has been awful this year. He's shot 10 of 24 on LAYUPS! and 37% from the floor overall. BPM -8.2.
I'd give up Gafford or a bench guy if they want to unload him but that's it. Maybe Billy can figure him out but right now he's a negative value player not worth real assets.

Re: NBA Trade Thread #2
Do you guys think KAT is worth pursuing? He's not available or anything, I'm just looking at different rosters and players and thinking which player will be asking to be traded in the near future. I think KAT is a guy who may need a change of scenery soon. He had some rough times in Minnesota when Jimmy was there, people questioning his work ethic, and the covid situation with his family. To me this guy needs a new start. I just think he's young enough, definitely very talented, to turn things around. Maybe Thibs and Jimmy couldn't get through him, but maybe BD is different.
I'd monitor KAT's situation and see if we can make a trade for him. Any other names you guys think may be asking to be traded soon?
I'd package everybody but Zach for him.

More, importantly, here's Marvin Bagley's statline as a rookie:
Season Age Tm Lg Pos G GS MP FG FGA FG% 3P 3PA 3P% 2P 2PA 2P% eFG% FT FTA FT% ORB DRB TRB AST STL BLK TOV PF PTS
2018-19 19 SAC NBA PF 62 4 25.3 5.7 11.4 .504 0.5 1.5 .313 5.3 9.8 .534 .525 2.9 4.2 .691 2.6 5.0 7.6 1.0 0.5 1.0 1.6 1.9 14.9
Then they replaced Dave Joeger with Luke Walton and Bagley's actually declined for two seasons, while the team has gotten worse across the board.
How much of that is injuries and lack of work, and how much of that is Walton being an awful coach? Because I'm thinking there's a good chance that Bagley is more of the good efficiency 21/11 per36 guy that he showed as a rookie than what we are seeing right now.
It's a "buy low" gamble - and the Bulls should be looking at those.

Re: NBA Trade Thread #2
Bagley can't pass, can't really shoot, is a meh shot blocker and overall weak interior defender and he definitely can't keep up with smaller perimeter players on defense. How is that a "modern big"? IMO his best position is very clearly center, where he can certainly do some things for you on offense, but the Kangz obviously can't admit that because then they would probably also have to admit that the guy they drafted over Luka is not even their best center right now. Oh, and he's injured a lot.
That pick really was an all-timer in terms of the worst picks ever.
