I don't know how far Tillie's going to fall because of serious health issues, but if he's available at our 2nd round pick, please get him. Good breakdown here.

they were awful. and he wouldn't be shooting them nearly as much if he were playing today. you'll notice that the video didn't include the 60% plus of those shots that he missed

I encourage people to listen to this podcast on the effect that a salary cap dip this year could have on FAs this summer and next: https://www.lineups.com/podcasts/anthony-davis-player-option-may-not-be-a-clear-cut-decision-hollywood-hoops-nba-podcast/

The short story is that the salary "max FAs" receive is tied to the maximum players can receive in the year they sign. Any appreciations in future seasons is then just a fractional adjustment from that initial scale. So if the NBA losses are severe this season (which they will be, it's just a question of how severe), the result will be a significantly lower salary cap for next season. This would mean any FAs signing max contracts or extensions this offseason could lose 10s of millions over the length of their contract.

So what's that mean for us? For one, AD's opt-in for $28.7 suddenly looks pretty good next season.

out of curiosity, i went though all the historical all-defensive team members to see which of the under-6'9" players had the best career steal+block rates per 36. and here they are:

3.9 d. bradley/logo (final abbreviated season only)
3.6 a. robertson
3.3 mcmillan/watts
3.2 draymond/buckner/M.R. richardson
3.1 covington
3.0 t. allen/MJ
2.9 kawhi/buse
2.8 pip/r. harper*/lever/gross

*harper never made all-defensive

jordan being guarded by robertson in college (robertson was taken #7 in MJ's draft):

The Rudy Gobert/Donovan Mitchell thing is really odd. Didn't both of them have extremely mild symptoms? I don't understand how their relationship is "beyond repair".

and unless there was some kind of unwanted touching involved, why would either think that the other was to blame?

Donovan thinks he contracted covid-19 from Rudy. It honestly doesn't seem that is the case as only he and Rudy tested positive. I think he contracted it from elsewhere.

Yeah, and even if he did, it still seems odd that the relationship wouldn't be fixable. It's not like he ended up in a hospital.

We don't know if they were all being carefull except one of them.

This is stupid cause they could both have gotten from someone else.

But, from the Bulls perspective... if this continue, would Gobert be a good fit for us to persue? (I doubt Michell is the one that the Jazz make available). The player is obviously good, not a superstar but a very good one to have. But our moment and project for the future, it doesn't seem to make much sense... still, it will all depend on other players we could get.

Mitchell is pissed cuz Gobert was mocking the sickness touching microphone and touching and fake coughing all over Mitchell’s things in the Locker room. A kid that got a autograph from Rudy in the same time period also got the the Rona . I think it’s more that he could have possibly spread it to his family members who could have worse health issues .

Neither here nor there, but watching first take on ESPN and they had an interview with Bill Laimbeer, and I think this might be the worst interview I've ever seen

Man this guy is a total clown. He said that he doesn't watch the NBA anymore because it's all 1:1 instead of 5:5 when he played, where in actuality there is radically more passing and less 1:1 play in the league now.

Also came off super bitter towards losing to Jordan

Yeah, he was as transparent as an jelly fish with his true feelings.

In a way it makes the 91 sweep a bit sweeter since you know it still bothers him.

They talk about game 3 of the 91 finals. Very entertaining.

RewatchaBulls? Is that a new Pod or just a title for this episode?

Who's the biggest Bulls fan from the basketball talking heads? I ask because I feel like noone talks about the Bulls passionately in the media and it's crazy to me haha.

I'm honestly shocked that nobody has done the usual "OMG Anthony Davis is selling his house!!1!1!!!" thread yet.

Good Bulls fans, good.
